It has been a great week for several teams as they have advanced to the district finals this weekend. Tonight a look at some of the top SW District performances from the seniors, some who saw their season and career come to an end, others have advanced to the district championship this weekend.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Ava Lickliter</strong></span>
{5-7 G, Dayton Carroll}
What a game for Ava as Carroll won the sectional title against previously unbeaten and #1 seed Tippecanoe 57-48. Ava connected on a trio of three-point shots and was a steady floor general the entire night.

{6-1 F, Springboro}
Had a big night with 21 points as the Rice University signee led the Panthers to the sectional title. She has shown for all of her career she is a big-game player with a variety of moves and weapons for her team.

{5-8 G, Trotwood Madison}
This athletic guard stepped up big in their sectional finals with 25 points as Trotwood battled back from 17-points down in the second half to defeat Eaton 68-67 to make their second consecutive district finals trip. Very quick with good north-south moves to the basket. Deep range and can score in a variety of ways.

{6-1 P, Roger Bacon}
The Cincinnati signee not only led the Spartans to the districts this weekend, she also became the all-time leading scorer at Roger Bacon as she is a strong powerful post presence with good footwork, great rebounding skills and a big defensive factor.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Rachel Wildermuth</span></strong></span>
{6-0 W, Tippecanoe}
A tough loss for the unbeaten Red Devils, but a very solid game from their two-sport standout. Rachel put up 16 points in her last game of her career, and set the tone inside and out for Tipp.
<strong><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;">[player_tooltip player_id="91072" first="Kendall" last="Folley"]</span></strong>
{5-6 G, Lebanon}
She stepped up big with 18 points, 6 rebounds as Lebanon makes only their fourth trip to the districts in school history with a 48-44 win against Loveland. The Oakland-signee is a natural leader with great court vision and a knack to score.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="32562" first="Amy" last="Velasco"]</span></strong></span>
{5-8 G, Centerville}
It was a rematch from a game earlier in the season where Centerville beat Tecumseh by 20. Last night, they cruised 71-40 and the Bowling Green signee showed why she is so special. Can do it all on the court, distribute the ball and defend to create turnovers. She dropped 24 in the big win last night.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="211751" first="Abigail" last="Dickson"]</span></strong></span>
{5-3 G, Valley View}
Great performance for the true point guard for the top-seeded Spartans. She scored 10 points with three assists and handled the full court pressure put on by the talented guard from Alter with no turnovers. Great floor general with court vision and solid on-ball defender.
<span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong>Lauren Legate</strong></span>
{5-10 W, Valley View}
Dropped 13 points against a solid Alter defense as she has the ability to score from the inside or beyond the arc. The next-level player is a very smart on-floor leader with an experienced game.
