2021 [player_tooltip player_id="123570" first="Lauren" last="Hall"], 5’10" Guard, Fenwick An athletic Shooting Guard with an impressive all-around game, Hall can play any of the Guard positions effectively with her skillset. She has a smooth, quick jump shot that is accurate from the mid-range and deep. Lauren uses her athleticism and length to defend multiple positions and bring down rebounds on both ends of the court. 2021 [player_tooltip player_id="123571" first="Elana" last="Wells"], 5’6" Guard, Burlington Central One of the states top Point Guards continued her early season success in Week 2, which should not come as a surprise to anyone. Wells is a natural scorer at all levels and is a terrific leader on the court. Elana doesn’t take plays off on either end of the floor, which is a big reason why her team is off to a terrific start. 2021 [player_tooltip player_id="11639" first="Kendall" last="Moriarty"], 6’0" Guard, Benet Academy Now the Senior leader for the Redwings, Moriarty has filled in nicely as the primary go-to option on offense. She is a solid shooter from deep but thrives at attacking the lane with her athleticism and using her length to finish around the rim. The Nebraska commit is terrific on the defensive end and chases down rebounds as hard as anyone. 2021 [player_tooltip player_id="198915" first="Alison" last="Kickel"], 5’10" Forward, Naperville North Kickel is a skilled Forward who helps stretch the floor on offense with her ability to make shots from deep and handle the ball. She can use her strength to defend other posts on the block, while also using her athleticism to step outside and defend the perimeter. Alison is a high IQ player who shows consistent effort and makes hustle plays for her team often. 2021 Marianna Morrissey, 5’8” Guard, Libertyville Morrissey is a versatile Guard/Small Forward who brings a ton of energy and hustle anytime she is on the floor. She is a high-IQ athlete who takes pride in making plays on defense with her awareness and toughness. 2021 [player_tooltip player_id="201103" first="Lauren" last="Huber"], 5’10" Guard, Libertyville Huber is a Combo Guard who can play on or off-the-ball with her solid ball-handling skills and ability to attack from the wing. The Holy Cross commit has a great looking jump shot from deep and uses her strength and quickness to drive the lane and finish at the basket through contact. 2021 [player_tooltip player_id="11668" first="Mary" last="Kate Fahey"], 5’7" Guard, Hersey Another top Point Guard in the state, Fahey has done a tremendous job leading the state’s top ranked team in Class 4A. The NYU commit is a reliable ball-handler with excellent court vision and decision-making abilities, which contribute to her always impressive assists-to-turnovers ratio. Mary Kate can knock down shots from anywhere on the floor and she uses her quickness and ball-handling skills to create her own shot.
