Maeve is a quick, fast guard who processes the game at a high level. She consistently looked to stay on the attack and make things happen for both herself and her teammates. One thing that really stood out was how active she remained after making a pass — she rarely stayed still and was constantly relocating, finding space, and cutting into open areas off the ball. She played in a different gear all weekend, and when she got a clean look from three, it felt automatic. Defensively, she was a pest from start to finish and never stopped making life difficult for opposing lead guards. Off the ball, she showed quick hands on digs and stunts and created a lot of disruption with her activity and anticipation. Maeve is one of the best point guards in her class.

Jossy was a very fun player to watch throughout the day. Her ball handling immediately stood out as one of her best tools, and it consistently allowed her to get to the spots she wanted on the floor. She put pressure on the defense over and over again by breaking down defenders and forcing help. What I liked most was how well she used pace and footwork to create advantages instead of just relying on speed alone. She played with control and purpose, and her finishing at the rim was strong as well. Jossy is definitely a guard I'll be keeping track of moving forward as her game continues to develop.

Nakeyla was one of the more advanced guards at the event from a skill set standpoint. She showed a strong understanding of how to use her off arm to shield the ball and create driving angles, while also using her body well to get past defenders. Her pace stood out immediately — she never looked sped up or out of control in any of the games I watched. Offensively, she proved to be a true three-level scoring threat with the ability to stretch the floor from beyond the arc and knock down shots in the midrange. Defensively, she was impactful as well, recording an impressive number of blocks for a guard. What stood out most was how many of those plays came as a weak-side helper, showing both instincts and timing. Nakeyla is a player who deserves to be talked about more often among the best in the state.

Audrena was a major reason her team finished the weekend undefeated. Her poise and control immediately stood out, as she never seemed rushed or sped up at any point. More than anything, she played like a guard who truly understands what the game needs from her. I saw her make an impact both on and off the ball. Playing off the catch, she did a great job attacking closeouts, getting downhill, and finishing at the rim. When defenders were late closing out, she made them pay from three. With the ball in her hands, her poise showed up in another way through her ability to get into the paint and play under control off two feet. Defensively, Audrena competed at a high level and consistently did a good job of keeping the ball in front. She was one of the more steady and impactful guards I watched all weekend.

I was very impressed with Lily all weekend. As a freshman playing up with sophomores this summer, she never looked out of place and consistently played with poise and confidence. More than anything, it felt like she was in control of the action whenever she was on the floor. She was rarely quiet on either end and brought a strong presence throughout the weekend. One thing I especially value in point guards is communication, and Lily stood out in that area with how vocal and engaged she was. With the ball in her hands, she attacked openings well and made quality passing reads when extra defenders committed to her. Off the ball, she also showed her value as a floor spacer by confidently taking — and knocking down — multiple threes. She is definitely a player, and I'm looking forward to following her growth throughout the summer.
