2022 Rankings Update: Big Movers

We updated the 2022 rankings this week and in addition to breaking down the positions, I wanted to take a look at some of the biggest movers in the update. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106142" first="Timothi" last="Williams"], Great Crossing - </strong>Timmi is having a great season, leading Great Crossing in scoring and shooting the ball extremely well. Williams is a versatile player who is effective on both ends of the court but has really made strides on offense this season and could be in the mix for 11th region Miss basketball nominee next season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="259217" first="Austin" last="Johnson"], Ryle - </strong>Johnson has had to wait her turn to shine at Ryle and now that her time has come, she's been taking advantage. Austin is averaging double figure points and chipping in with nearly every statistical category for one of the best teams in the state. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="259216" first="Madelyn" last="Lawson"], Dixie Heights - </strong>It was a long way back from multiple knee surgeries for Maddie but she has made a triumphant return as a Junior. Lawson is an excellent slasher who is leading Dixie in almost every category and will impress D1 coaches if she can develop a more consistent three point shot. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="157977" first="Sierra" last="Kemelgor"], South Oldham - </strong>South is having a great season and Sierra's development is a large reason why. She has become very consistent in her Junior year and can now be relied on for double figure points and several rebounds every night out. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="210888" first="Allison" last="Wallace"], Frederick Douglass - </strong>Douglass continues to improve and Allison's growth has been a major factor in their season thus far. She's one of the top players in Lexington already and keeps developing all aspects of her game. She has become a big time shooter from deep and shown she can score all over the court.
