The Makayla Epps Classic brought together talented players from across the region, and the energy in the gym showed just how special this event has quickly become. It was great getting an opportunity to catch Coach Makayla Epps, she shared “For my first ever hosted tournament to have 31 teams was a success and a blessing! Grateful to be able to host an event in my hometown. Like a full circle moment in life for me honestly. Hope to double that next year and continue to build something special for many years to come!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Basketball is the best and easiest way for me to give back to the community because it's a large part of who I am. Hosting a tournament, working kids out, helping kids grow and chase their dreams is who I am and what I'm about.
