Tripp is a dynamic guard. She’s explosive in the open floor, weaving her way through defenders with the ball on a string. Her tight handle and creativity make her tough to stop. She can score at all three levels and has advanced court vision as a playmaker. A great athlete, Sanaa has a chance to be a very good on-ball defender. Tripp has all the attributes to become a five-star standout and one of the best players in Georgia.
<strong>No. 2 || 5-8 CG [player_tooltip player_id="195978" first="Ava" last="Grace Watson"] – Buford</strong>
Already with High Major offers in tow, [player_tooltip player_id="195978" first="Ava" last="Grace Watson"] is mature beyond her years. She’s a reliable ball handler and a lethal three-point shooter. She can play either guard position. Though she’s light of stature, she’s got a frame that can add muscle over time and already has the functional strength to get to the basket and finish through contact. Watson has good instincts on defense with active hands.
<strong>No. 3 || 5-11 PG [player_tooltip player_id="218690" first="Tianna" last="Thompson"] – Galloway</strong>
A wiry playmaker, [player_tooltip player_id="218690" first="Tianna" last="Thompson"] is a superb passer that can do a little bit of everything on the floor. She stuffs the stat sheet with her motor and feel for the game. Thompson is a well-balanced scorer that can slash to the hoop or shoot from the perimeter. Her length defensively helps her swallow up smaller guards when applying pressure.
<strong>No. 4 || 6-2 W [player_tooltip player_id="205022" first="Jada" last="Bates"] – Kennesaw Mountain</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="205022" first="Jada" last="Bates"] is already in the record books at Kennesaw Mountain, scoring a program record 33 points in a game. She’s a lanky swingman that can play 1-3 for the Mustangs. Bates is crafty when attacking the hoop and uses deft footwork to slide past defenders. Her outside shot can get hot. Bates is loaded with potential. She’s a versatile scorer and her size can cause issues defensively.
<strong>No. 5 || 5-10 PG [player_tooltip player_id="218613" first="Bryanna" last="Preston"] – Lovejoy</strong>
Trying to fill the shoes of [player_tooltip player_id="118030" first="Anaya" last="Boyd"] (Georgia Tech) and [player_tooltip player_id="118032" first="Genesis" last="Bryant"] (North Carolina State), [player_tooltip player_id="218613" first="Bryanna" last="Preston"] didn’t back down from the challenge and rose to the occasion, earning All-Region honors in the toughest region in Georgia. She’s an athletic guard with a knack for facilitating. Preston can get downhill and finish in a crowd and can make things happen with her activity on defense. As her outside shot improves throughout her career, Preston will get better and better. She has as much raw skills as anyone in her class.
