Emilee Lewnis: The 5’8 guard from Wake Forest high school more than doubled her points per game from her sophomore season to this season. Going from right at 5 a game to nearly 14 a game in a massive bump! She was more impressive with scoring a 3 point basket in every game she played in this last season, knocking down a total of 52 (16 more than her sophomore season). She is a player who has put in the work to level up her shot and game season to season. She also earned herself all conference honors for her work this past season. Keep an eye on her this summer and going into her senior season in a few months!
Imelda McMenamin Imelda McMenamin SG Charlotte Catholic | 2022 NC : The 5’8 shooting guard from Charlotte Catholic had another impressive season in her junior outing. Averaging over 11 points per game, knocking down over 40 3’s, and knocking down at least 1 in every game played in. She has a nice quick release, moves very well without the ball to get open, and is ready when her teammates kick it out to her for her shot. She is another one who earned all conference honors this last season. Catch her this summer she plays AAU for the Charlotte Elite Dream organization.
Breanna Rae Bentley: The 5’7 guard from Statesville Christian high school has been apart of the varsity squad since she was an 8th grader. She has been a consistent scorer since her sophomore season, averaging over 12 points per season this last season. She knocked down nearly 35% of her shots from behind the arc, there were 8 different games where she was knocking down 3+ a game. She is a team player and understands the leadership and roles for her on her team. Keep an eye on her this summer and next senior season.
Cambria Budinger: The 5’ll small forward from Arborbrook Christian Academy had a very good junior season. Averaging over 20 points per game, knocking down a 3 in nearly every game this last season–a total of 33 made. She really could go get a bucket for her team, never scoring less than 16 points in any game this last season. Besides having great size, being able to get a bucket from anywhere on the court, she is also a very good rebounder averaging right around 8 per game. She will be an interesting one to watch for the rest of her playing career.
