This weekend, 2030 prospects from both North and South Carolina will have their turns on the court.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Rock Hill Sports and Events Center hosts a large number of events throughout the year. One of those is the Prep Girls Hoops Carolinas Freshman Showcase. This Sunday is when the festivities take place.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One can expect a sizable portion of North Carolina names to be in attendance. Durant recently wrapped up a 2026 travel season where she wore the uniform of [program_tooltip program_id='714762' first='Charlotte' last='Dream Elite']. That included an appearance at the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit's Southeast Kickoff where her team played up in the 15U division where Durant and her team went undefeated. Throughout her career, Wilson was worn plenty of travel uniforms throughout her career – including Carolina Elite, [program_tooltip program_id='1855543' first='Carolina' last='Hornets'] United, [program_tooltip program_id='714762' first='Charlotte' last='Dream Elite'] and FBC Drive. Wilson previously played at Carolina Christian and last season was part of a Cannon team that won its third consecutive NCISAA championship following a 47-37 win over Providence Day in the championship game. Wilson competed in 16 contests last season for the Cougars. Said schedule also includes soccer in addition to what she gets accomplished on the basketball court. Evora previously played at Endeavor Charter school and is set to begin her high school career with 8A Rolesville – which won a state championship two seasons ago as a 4A team. Evora recently finished a 2026 AAU season where she ran with FBP Elite. The Bulls of 7A Hickory Ridge are set to be well-represented this Sunday in Rock Hill – as will the [program_tooltip program_id='714762' first='Charlotte' last='Dream Elite'] travel team. At the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit's Southeast Kickoff in late March, McCauley was another of our top performers on a [program_tooltip program_id='714762' first='Charlotte' last='Dream Elite'] team that played up in that 15U division and finished sans a blemish in Hickory. She previously played her middle school ball at Hickory Ridge MS. Said travel campaign was spent on the Under Armour circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='716105' first='Team' last='Mack'] and she played up in class on its 16U team. Martin helped last season's Hawks to a 22-7 record. Martin established herself last season as one of the premier eighth graders in North Carolina's private school ranks as she played in 27 of Charlotte Latin's 29 contests last season. Martin would average 7.1 points, 2.2 assists, 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game throughout the 2025-26 campaign. She has consistently shown during her AAU play that she belongs on the same court against much more experienced competition. Bronson has also maintained an active athletic schedule considering she has also tried her hand at volleyball. A rising force in the frontcourt, Bronson looks to return 7A Clayton to the winning ways the Comets enjoyed as recently as the 2023-24 season. The Jackson Day team she will be joining once the 2026-27 season commences was one of the teams to beat among North Carolina's private school ranks as the Mariners finished with a solid 18-6 record. Her grassroots career included a previous stint with Team EAT as well as her most recent journey with one of the premier Nike circuit teams in North Carolina in [program_tooltip program_id='1855543' first='Carolina' last='Hornets'] United. White will be that presence for a Newton-Conover program that was reclassified into 4A prior to last season. Last season was a down year for the Red Devils but White looks to restore winning ways to Newton-Conover – winning ways the team basked in the glow of as recently as 2024-25 when the Red Devils finished 18-7 when they played in the 2A classification. White stands at 5-foot-9 and fuses together talent with plenty of versatility.
