Not afraid of contact, and nails her free throws. She had some big 3’s in the All-Star game, giving her team momentum at key times in the game.
Maddie Flischel- 5’1, Western Brown: Flischel has fast feet, and plays defense well. Offensively, she’s able to split the defense and take the ball to the basket. Had a pretty scoop shot in the 4th quarter, which put her on the foul line.
Selena Weaver- 6’1, West Liberty Salem: I like how she was physical down low, battling inside the paint. Her hands are up, denying the ball. With her length, she can no doubt rebound and able to block and alter shots. Nice strong left handed move in the 4th, and knows how to get to the charity stripe.
Bailey Zerby- 5’10, Bellbrook: Zerby had a nice game, and has a pretty outside shot! She’s quick, fills the lanes well on transition. She was heating up from behind the arc by the end of the 1st half, with a big 3 in the corner, and scored two more treys in the 2nd half, sealing the win with 39 seconds left.
Olivia Reittinger- 5’6, Bethel: Olivia has speed, and isn’t afraid to challenge taller kids. She pushes the ball, and likes a fast pace game. Plays unselfish ball, looks for the open teammates, and can get to the line.
