Rankings Update – Stock Risers 2024’s

After our 2024 class rankings update, we take a look in this article at a few of the players that have been able to raise their player profiles as we head towards District play here in Missouri. These players have been able to improve their games from the start of the season and it has shown in the improvement of their teams. Their overall skillsets have shown improvement during high school ball and it goes to show that these players continued to find ways to improve within their teams. <hr /> <strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="224018" first="Avery" last="Simmons"] 5’11" CG Ι Blue Springs South</span></strong> <ul> <li>A strong and long combo guard that can play on or off the ball. Avery can attack the rim with either hand and finishes well through contact. She is a solid defender with good instincts and rebounds very well. Capable shooter out to three with a good feel for the game. High basketball IQ.</li> </ul> <strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="243350" first="Dylan" last="Price"] 5’11" CG Ι Ellington</span></strong> <ul> <li>A solid combo guard that is a solid shooter from three. Dylan is an excellent on-ball defender with her quick hands and quickness playing passing lanes. She plays well in transition and finishes at the rim. Her basketball IQ is solid and she has great court awareness.</li> </ul> <strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="254699" first="Kya" last="Johnson"] 5’6" CG Ι Kickapoo</span></strong> <ul> <li>A quick combo guard with great court vision and a knockdown shooter from three. Kya is an elite-level perimeter defender and has great anticipation and awareness on the defensive end. She plays well in transition and can create with the rock getting to the basket. High motor and really competes on both ends.</li> </ul> <strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="254695" first="Elaina" last="Lobaugh"] 5’11" SG Ι Barstow School</span></strong> <ul> <li>A solid shooting guard that moves well without the ball. Elaina has a quick release on her jumper and is a solid shooter from three. She is a capable three-level scorer and is a solid defender. High motor and basketball IQ. She competes on both ends of the floor.</li> </ul> <strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="254694" first="Holly" last="Woods"] 5’11" PG Ι Barstow School</span></strong> <ul> <li>A quick and dynamic point guard that can get to anywhere on the floor. Holly plays bigger than her size and has great court vision and awareness. A knockdown shooter from three and she can be electric off the bounce making plays for herself and her teammates. She is a three-level scorer that is excellent in transition. An excellent on-ball defender and really competes on both ends of the floor.</li> </ul> <strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="245472" first="Lydia" last="Doole"] 5’6" PG Ι Platte County</span></strong> <ul> <li>An excellent lead guard with good court vision and awareness. Lydia is a solid shooter from three and plays bigger than her size. Solid rebounder from her point guard position and an excellent on-ball defender. Competes on both ends and has a good feel for the game with her pace of play. Values the basketball and can run a team.</li> </ul> &nbsp;
