She handles defensive pressure very well, and didn't turn the ball over today. Strong handles, takes the ball strong to the basket. Brought down 8 rebounds, scored 8, and dished out 3 assists. Tegan Bartoe: G, 5’8, 2022, Vinton County Bartoe is an aggressive guard, and she's without question a leader on the floor. She has the ability to get her teammates involved. Love her spin moves to the basket, uses the backboard, and showed no fear. I like how she lets the game come to her, and doesn't force passes or shots. She had 5 points and 4 rebounds in today's game. Lacie Williams: G/F, 5’6, 2022, Vinton County This junior guard really stepped up big today and had the hot hand, scoring 17 points on 6-10 shooting, including 5-7 from behind the arc! She can shoot the ball from anywhere, beautiful form! And defensively, I loved how she was aggressive, and made her opponents work hard. Helen Holley: F, 6’1, 2024, Laurel Holley is one of the best, athletic and skilled 2024 players in the state. College coaches, she's got game! Cuts so well to the basket, she can rebound against anyone, and shows natural instincts on the floor. Great body control, strong motor. She finished the game with 8 points, 8 rebounds. Very bright future! Explosive defensive player who lead her team in steals today with 4. Can hurt teams with her 3's and drives to the basket.
