Incredible kid who often gets overlooked outside of her area, and she is a legitimate D1 prospect. She is an athletic who can jump out of the gym and utilizes her athleticism to create offense for her team. She shoots the ball very well with great range out to 27-feet. Rebounds the ball well and can finish around the rim with a varsity of moves. Can do a lot of things on the floor, would be a nice 2-guard at the next level.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Alaina Keeney, 5-11 2022, Wheelersburg</span></strong></span>
Does a lot of things right and very underrated. Makes the right move, makes the right pass and handles the ball extremely well and can handle the pressure on the court. Very mild mannered, doesn’t get too high or low during a game. A good rebounder who can get position in the paint to score, or step out and pop the midrange.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Tegan Bartoe, 5-8 2022 Vinton County</span></strong></span>
Had a great run as the point guard for the team who advanced to the state finals. During the summer, she looks to continue to add to her game with this talented squad. Versatile kid who is solid on defense all over the court. Long arms and disruptive. One of her biggest attributes is her high basketball IQ and will make the right decision for her team. Very good range from anywhere, loves the pick-and-roll.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="92528" first="Marlee" last="Grinstead"], 5-9 2022, Alexander</span></strong></span>
Makes a lot of happen and college coaches have noticed she is always making plays for her team. Long arm defender, can block a lot of shots on the perimeter and is strong on the boards. Always getting her hands in the play, knocking the ball loose and creating for her team. Nice post moves, or can step out to beyond the three.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Kara Meeks, 5-11 2022, Alexander</span></strong></span>
Very fundamental kid who plays the small forward spot, will rebound the ball and defend well. Good passer and could be a nice stretch-4 for the next level.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Payton Johnson, 5-8 2024, Peebles</span></strong></span>
Her club coach said she is likely the best freshman in southern Ohio, and it doesn’t take long to figure out why. Continues to improve, can score inside our out. Similar player to Payton Scott (now at Miami), scores well, can defend, just a great athlete. Was a great compliment to graduating senior [player_tooltip player_id="157678" first="Jacey" last="Justice"].
