Key Players to Watch
Riley Heitkamp, 5-8 2022 Fort Loramie
A motor that never ends and gets after it defensively. A part of the state championship Fort Loramie squad this spring and can pressure her opponent full court the entire game. Incredible jumping ability and can jump out of the gym, can block and alter shots. Can also hit shots when needed. You can’t get inside her head, she always has a smile on her face in any situation of the game.
Ella Hoehne, 6-0 2022, Russia
Big tall lanky player still working to improve on her physical game. Coming around and will be a solid factor this summer and into next season. Very knowledgeable player and knows the game well. Already getting some interest from the next level and it’s not hard to figure out why. As she continues to showcase her ability, her stock will continue to rise.
Lenna Rowland, 5-10 2022, Anna
With two older talented sisters, Lenna continues the solid play for the Rockets. Very smart player and has the basketball IQ already. Loves to play physical and get into the paint and control the boards.
Riley Trentman, 5-7 2022 New Bremen
A guard who can do a little bit of everything on the court. Plays for a successful program in the best small school conference in Ohio, the MAC, meaning she competes every night against talented players to push her to become better. She lets the game come to her and needs to understand to take on a bit more of a scoring role. High motor to pressure you all game.
Sarah Rush, 2023 Miami East
Up and coming point guard who also has a high motor. Will display her skills this summer and she should be able to take on more of a leadership role next season in high school. She will make your life very tough when guarding you and she won’t let up the entire length of the court.
Megan Meyer, 5-1 2022 Houston
Comes in and plays her role during the rotation of guards they use. She keeps the offense rolling and has a scoring mentality while doing the things that the other guards on the team can do.
