Noble & Greenough | 2024
State
New E
- Noble & Greenough/Lady Rivals - 5’9’’ - SG/SF
PGH Rank: #9
Simmons is one of the most athletically gifted players in her class. She gets up and down the court like a track star, has elite lateral quickness, and can jump out of the gym. Simmons defends at a very high level, and her ability to defend multiple positions makes her valuable on the court. The only hole in her game is shot-making from the outside, which she put to bed over the weekend. Simmons was hitting step-backs off the bounce and spot-up threes from all around the arc. When you couple that with the defense and finishing in transition, it puts her in the top 5 conversation. Simmons is so impactful in other facets of the game that if what I saw over the weekend was a microcosm of things to come for this spring and she can consistently be that reliable shooting, then Simmons will shake up the rankings.
Ashley Dinges

New E
- Central Catholic/Lady Rivals - 6’1’’ - SF
PGH Rank: #3
Dinges lived up to her top 3 status by dominating every one-on-one matchup in front of her. Not a single player could check Dinges, and she did whatever she wanted on the court. Dinges is too strong and tough physically for even the bigger forwards inside, and her perimeter game was as potent as anyone. Dinges’ pull-up in transition might be the most dangerous signature shot in a player’s offensive repertoire that I have seen thus far. When she is going downhill at full speed, stops on a dime, and lets it fly from mid-range or beyond the arc, it is one of the most unstoppable shots going. Dinges was efficient and an intimidating presence on the hardwood, making it very clear to the competition that she is on another level.

- Burncoat/Bay State Jaguars - 5’7’’ - PG
PGH Rank: WL
Robles popped late in the weekend and is a player that everyone should pay close attention to during the spring and summer months. She is the most athletic point guard in her class, and it helps Robles be a great defender and rebounder. Her tenacity and aggression on defense force turnovers, and Robles has good instincts and timing when coming from the help side to block shots. She is an impactful, two-way guard whose energy on both sides of the ball sparks the team, which rubbed off on her teammates, creating a fun, winning brand of basketball. I like how Robles controls the game, her swagger, and that she plays with edge and attitude. There are two qualities in a point guard that Robles has that I love: ball security and her shot creation for the team off of her penetration. This tells me she has the ability to elevate the players around her and maximize the team’s ceiling. Robles has that “it” factor and will be a problem from here on out.
