of Duluth Marshall, whose senior season in high school basketball goes into the history books as one of the greatest ever in the state of Minnesota.
Kneepkens has had a remarkable career, and her senior season was punctuated with multiple games in the 50-plus points range. It was the last game of her high school career, though, that will live on in the annals of Minnesota basketball as Kneepkens scored a state-record 67 points against Providence Academy. Gianna does so much more than score, of course. She is the consummate leader and teammate, with a skill set that extends deep and wide. But when you put up numbers like that in a televised state tournament game, you aren’t soon going to be forgotten.
