Regan Williams Regan Williams 6'2" | SF Link Academy | 2024 State MO 6’1 KC Lady Run GMC 2023 UAA: The 2024 wing from Park Hill South (MO) was a bucket-getter from everywhere as she led her team to a 4-0 record during the weekend. The young lady knows how to score and she did it in a variety of ways. She used her size to score inside or she can go outside and hit mid-range jumpers and 3-pointers. She was also very good at getting buckets in very unconventional ways as difficult angles. She would routinely make scoop shots high off the glass with her opposite hand, one-handed runners off the opposite foot and other off balance shots. She made very tough shots look quite easy.
Taliyah Scott Taliyah Scott 5'4" | CG Truman | 2023 State MO 5’6 Della Lamb 2003 3SSB: The 2023 shooting guard from Truman (MO) was one of the most consistent scoring threats throughout the weekend as she led her team to a 3-1 record. She played the role of prototype shooting guard to perfection as she unleashed her offensive game from all three levels. She was cash money from long distance as she made several 3-pointers off the catch. She also had a quick first step to beat defenders to the basket to score with a nice two-foot jump stop in the lane. She was also very good in the transition game. When she wasn’t getting buckets, she also dropped some nice dimes to open teammates.
Emma Slings 5’7 Team Iowa 2023 BlueStar: A very talented 2023 point guard from Cedar Rapids Jefferson (IA) who was very good at controlling the offense and getting buckets when it was time to score. She handled the ball well and did a nice job of delivering the pass to open teammates for easy buckets. She is also a very potent offensive player with a mid-range game that is money. She comes downhill with the hard dribble and can stop on the dime and elevate from the free throw line with good elevation and balance. She can also play the angles to keep defenders off balance and create the separation she needs off the dribble.
Mariah Farmer Mariah Farmer 5'6" | PG Silver Lake | 2023 State KS 5’6 Lady Prospects 2023: An impressive 2023 point guard from Silver Lake High (KS) who had a very productive weekend in leading her team to a 4-0 record. She was very good at attacking the basket as she could get downhill off the dribble, whether she was going with her right or left hand. She was constantly putting pressure on the defense. If she was cut off the first time, she would back out and keep probing to see if there was an opening. She stayed low on the dribble so it was very tough to put any kind of pressure on her. She was also an aggressive defender who could hawk the ball and create steals.
Olivia Watkins 6’0 Team Trae Young 2023: A very talented 2025 hybrid player who was impressive at both ends of the court. What was more impressive is that she was playing two years up in the 16U division and looking very comfortable. With her height, she was a formidable defender as she used her length to block several shots during the weekend. She was also good at scoring inside with both hands around the basket. She was also very capable on the perimeter as she could handle the ball and knock down 3-pointers off the catch. She also understands how to operate in the pick and roll as she mixed things up with the roll, the pop for the 3-pointer and the quick slip to the basket. A very advanced young lady with a big future.
