A few dozen college coaches were in attendance to watch some outstanding players – including these girls who stood out to our crew at PGH Ohio.
Clarke Jackson Clarke Jackson 5'9" | CG Gahanna Lincoln | 2023 State OH – Gahanna Lincoln – Class of 2023
Jackson is a super-athlete with the basketball talent to match. She has a quick first step, which makes her especially tough to stop when she wants to get to the rim. She uses her leaping ability to score over defenders, while also blocking shots and grabbing rebounds when it is her turn to play D. Clarke is a solid defender – with room to become elite.
Carly Maple Carly Maple 5'8" | SF Sylvania Northview | 2022 OH – Sylvania Northview – Class of 2022
Carly is a solid guard prospect with good size. She plays with a high basketball IQ, seemingly making the right decisions consistently throughout the course of a game. She has a quick release and makes plays with the ball in her hands, whether it be looking for her shot or creating for teammates. Maple is an above-average rebounder from the perimeter.
Kendall Braden Kendall Braden 5'9" | SG Toledo Christian | 2024 State OH – Toledo Christian – Class of 2024
Braden is already developing the reputation of one of the best players in Ohio’s class of 2024. Her performance at the OGBR Spring Special – and subsequently, The Clash – helped her cause even more. She has superb handles and great hand-eye coordination. She is physically tough with a silky-smooth outside shot. Kendall also has the ability to finish around the rim in a variety of different ways.
Morgan Dixon – Badin – Class of 2022
Morgan is solid guard who could be especially good in a system that fits her strengths, as opposed to an open run setting like the Special Special. She has a quick release with good range from the perimeter. Dixon is always in the right spot at the right time, making hustle plays in bunches – creating opportunities for her teammates on both ends of the floor.
Kiley Dyrlund Kiley Dyrlund 5'11" | PF Uniontown Lake | 2022 State OH – GlenOak – Class of 2022
Dyrlund had a great day – scoring what seemed like 30 points in her first game. She is a nightmare to deal with when she guards you on the ball – using her long arms to create deflections and gather up steals. She is tough to stop in transition, as she can finish with both hands through and around contact. Kiley has a high ceiling.
