More impressive Point Guards
Dionna Gray, 5-4 2022 West Virginia Thunder 17U UAA
One thing I really liked about Dionna is the fact she was very slick on the court. Played with some swagger and shoed good handles running the offense. She is quick and agile and defensively she was active and creative to pressure the ball. Dionna was a good floor leader on both sides of the ball. Controlled the bigger players on the boards. Good court sense.
Caylen Spano, 5-4 2024, MAC Basketball
I have seen her before, and she showed improvement, maturity and better all-around skills. Impressed with how she can seal and score at the rim. As she was productive in the paint, she showed good footwork and was strong on the boards. Her perimeter game was solid, and she showed many different ways to help her team. Poised and able to adapt to any style of game.
Tamara Ortiz Tamara Ortiz 5'4" | PG Westerville South | 2023 State OH , 5-5 2023 OH Lady Hoopsters Impact
She caught my eye very early in her game on Sunday morning with a no-look pass in transition. From there, I watched her handle the ball very well, showcase her ability to play under control while looking for the best shot for her team. Excellent court vision and a very good passer. Can score from behind the arc. Gamer.
Isabella Cassoni Isabella Cassoni 5'7" | SG Waynesville | 2022 State OH , 5-6 2022, Ohio Elite 2022
I have had the pleasure of seeing her multiple times as she plays in my region, and I can say that her game has gone to the next level. Extremely quick guard with incredible handles, able to create and raise the level of play on the court. Great moves with the ball, creates space and can score from anywhere on the court. Headed to Cedarville where her game will continue to grow.
AB Holsinger, 5-3 2022, PV Thunder HGSL 2022
Loved her floor game in transition, and she showed a lot of quickness and scrappiness of a next-level point guard. She can penetrate and create, and has an effective game from the midrange in. Makes it look effortless, but showed a lot of grit and determination around the ball. This Maryland guard is savvy and creative.
