One of the most talented programs in Ohio is Midwest Takeover, under the direction of Charles Williams. Today we will take a look at a combination of both the 2022 and 2023 teams with some of the top players to watch, along with several who should be key contributors. <strong>Rachel Reichard, 6-2 2023 Turpin</strong>
Very skilled kid, can shoot the 3 with good footwork in the paint Added 5 pounds of muscle this year. Defender , great teammate and a 4.0 student with honors classes. Will step onto the college campus academically as a sophomore.
<strong>Ranlei Freeman, 5-7 2023 North College Hill</strong>
Very explosive athlete, lockdown defender and gets to her basket at will vs anyone. Really work hard to become better. Is a true gym rat and Is very vocal as a PG, doesn’t back down to anyone on the court.
<strong>Krystin McWhorter, 6-2 2023, Roger Bacon</strong>
A long athlete who can defend 1-5, high motor, she is a post player who is developing her perimeter skills. She is always in the gym, wants to just get better.
<strong>Kaycie Baydlack, 5-9 2022, McNicholas</strong>
Another high academic kid, leftie. shoots well, high energy and another gym rat. Improved her handles. Creates well off the dribble and really strong and in the weight room all the time. Great leader.

Extremely fast and on ball defender. Learning her position to be more vocal, wants to learn the game. Very interested in getting better. Always in the gym. Good shooter, but is more of a team player. Can afford to be a little more selfish. Good in transition.
<strong>Madi Barnett, 5-6 2023, Kings</strong>
Really explosive athlete, also good kid and academically strong. Attacks at will and can score from perimeter. Gets to her spots. Strong build plays through contact like most of her team. Lockdown defender. Multidimensional.
