If you attended our camps in the past, you will learn from some of the most knowledgeable coaches in the business, we train kids with plyometric, ball handling, shooting form and defensive skills. The ladies that participated this past Sunday had a great time and were worked hard as they could be and now it is time for us to evaluate the girls and put it all in print. The camp consisted of about 35 girls and they were all from different walks of life and areas in the state of California. They consisted of girls from the class of 2021 – 2025 and they were broke up into teams and they would stay together to workout with their trainer coaches.
#12: 2021, 5’6, SG, St. Anthony’s HS, Meghan McIntyre Meghan McIntyre 5'6" | SG St. Anthony HS | 2021 State CA – Megan is nice, we have to say she is NICE, she makes plays, she can score and she is a born leader as well. She has a nice lefty jumper an she can really stroke it from the three point line, but her best attribute is her willingness to play defense and shut down her opponent. She is crafty with the ball and she is able to pump fake and swing thru and get to the rim. This girl should be on every coaches list right now, she is good.
#14: 2022, 5’8, PG, La Jolla Country Day HS, KoKo Akridge KoKo Akridge 5'4" | PG Christian HS | 2023 State CA – KoKo is a solid combo guard on the floor, she has great size and is a threat to score each and every time she has the ball in her hands. She can get to the rim and finish, she can stop and pop the midrange and she can shoot the three ball as well. She ran the floor well and got out for a teammate to hit her with a good pass for an easy layup.
#18: 2022, 6’3, PF/C, James Logan HS, Aunika Hornung – Auni was a joy to watch, she is big, she is athletic and runs the floor like a gazelle. She is skilled in the paint and can score at will down low and played very good post defense and was able to keep her opponent at bay. She rebounded the ball, outlet it to the guards and ran the lane to catch and finish which was very often in the games we watched, she is very aggressive on the floor and knows how to use her body to get where she wants.
