The combination will make anyone tough to beat. The following prospects have both and are only getting better.
Etaria Gibbons Etaria Gibbons 6'0" | SF Northeast | 2022 State FL – Northeast
Baller Alert out in Oakland Park. 2022 Etaria Gibbons Etaria Gibbons 6'0" | SF Northeast | 2022 State FL is a terrific wing/forward with all the tools to be special. The Hurricanes star has the athleticism, length and ball skill to dominate on the court. The 6-foot+ Gibbons averaged 16.4 points and 11.4 rebounds per game as a sophomore. Moreover, she collected more than six per contest on the offensive end. In addition, Gibbons’ toughness and ability to guard multiple positions is impressive. Her work ethic and energy will also carry her far. She is one of the best when healthy in Broward County. Member of the Miami Suns.
Mya Kone Mya Kone 6'1" | SF Blanche Ely | 2022 State FL – Blanche Ely
Kone can be a devastating prospect on the floor when healthy. You are not going to find many prospects that can match her quickness and length. Therefore, Kone can play and guard multiple positions. The 6-foot-2 prospect averaged 8.7 points and nine rebounds per game while shooting 44 percent from the floor last season. Against St. Thomas Aquinas, Kone had a season-high 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (seven offensive) on 82% shooting from the field. Those type of performances show her immense potential. Member of Team Knight.
Zaria Blake Zaria Blake 6'0" | SF Blanche Ely | 2022 State FL – Blanche Ely
The problem in dealing with the Tigers is the amount of depth they have. It is no wonder why they went 18-2 overall and will compete for a state championship again next season. 2022 wing Zaria Blake Zaria Blake 6'0" | SF Blanche Ely | 2022 State FL is part their nucleus. The 6-foot-1 Blake averaged 8.6 points and 5.4 rebounds while shooting an impressive 48 percent from the field. Moreover, she scored in double-figures in ten games and shot 50 percent or better in nearly all of those contests. Blake has shown good positioning and ability to grab the tough rebounds. She collected 43 on the offensive and 49 on the defensive end last season. Also a member of Team Knight.
Jada Green Jada Green 6'0" | PF St. Thomas Aquinas | 2022 State FL – St. Thomas Aquinas
Clutch! 2022 Jada Green Jada Green 6'0" | PF St. Thomas Aquinas | 2022 State FL was a key factor in the Raiders 6A state championship game against Wekiva. The 6-foot-1 forward finished with a double-double of 16 points and ten rebounds while shooting a perfect 100% (6/6) from the floor. While shooting at an accurate efficiency, it says something to the highest level with the game on the line. Not every prospect can handle that kind of pressure. Moreover, Green’s power, length and athleticism was just too much to handle in the 2-point victory. In all honestly, all of those factors were problems for many opponents during the course of the season. Green nearly averaged a double-double of ten points and 9.3 rebounds per game because of it. The fact she can use that ability and run the floor will wear opponents down. Member of the Miami Suns.
