2022 Prospect Rankings Update: Names To Know

Prep Girls Hoops Michigan recently updated the class of 2022 prospect rankings. There are names that everyone knows, names that diehard fans are familiar with, and brand new names that people will become familiar with. We will look at 6 prospects that everyone should get to know if they don’t already. These player are all in position to have big seasons and be highly influential in grassroots and high school basketball. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="277635" first="Davai" last="Matthews"] (PF, Wayne Memorial)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #11 The coaching staff at Wayne Memorial polishes next level talent on a regular basis. Matthews looks to be next in line. She’s one of the most talented post players in the state. Matthews attacks the glass and is a terrific 2 way player. She has solid footwork on both ends. <strong>Jordan Wight (PG, Ann Arbor Huron)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #15 Wright is a bona fide playmaker. She’s terrific with the ball in her hands and can play at any pace. Wright can create for herself and her teammates. Pnacek is a truly special talent and probably one of the better shooters in the state. She has a high basketball IQ. She’s an outstanding all around athlete that can usually beat her defender and get buckets. She can catch fire from deep and absolutely change a game. Fernandez is much more than just a shooter though. She’s solid with the ball and can start the offense with the dribble or pass. &nbsp;
