Oklahoma is OKAY, I saw Danielle Gant (Texas A&M) and Earnesia Williams (Texas) with Air Oklahoma battling Marissa Coleman (Maryland) Fairfax Stars in Virginia Beach, 2003 AAU Nationals and that did it for me yet I don’t travel as much as I used to, off the court, more on it and it was so refreshing to just get out and see a whole lot of teams from various states so let me drop Oklahoma standalone, Kansas will wrap Border War 2021 All-Stars later tonight. Let me offer full transparency, unlike the pettiness Dan Olsen showed by ranking my daughter 208 at the guard spot when he with ASGR because "he hadn’t seen her", that wasn’t the reason, I didn’t get a chance to watch the star-studded Griffin BB 2023 Elite squad who have an All-Star team within itself starting with [player_tooltip player_id="197965" first="Gracy" last="Wernli"]-5’9 G I just love watching shoot the ball

Corey Rainwater (Fusion 2022 Red) 2021
Rainwater did a good job on the inside, she’s strong, agile and her hands and footwork were nice, so were her finishes plus she rebounded on both ends
Meagan Gray-5’5 CG (Fusion 2022 Red) 2022
Gray has a slight HEZ as well as a STUTTA step so she understands how to get open and created her shot under pressure which was a nice pull-up jumper that she dropped with a hand in her face
Khamille Warr-5’9 PF (Fusion 2022 White) 2022
Warr created her shot well and showed she could knock down the mid to long-range consistently but she also took defenders off the dribble and finished strongly plus she rebounded on both ends
Sophia Regaldo (2023 Banshees) 2023
Regaldo finishes strongly after creating her shot under pressure and watching her take the defender off the dribble, with either hand, was nice, so was her rebounding on both ends of the court
[player_tooltip player_id="197978" first="Allie" last="Harris"]-5’7 G (Fusion 2023) 2023
Harris probably was one of the best long ball shooters, my notes have "barrage of 3’s " so that’s more than a couple yet it’s the way she sets the defender up to just drop it on the pull-up or the "catch and shoot"
Christina Laudan-6’0 F (Fusion 2023) 2022
Laudan goes after everything off the rim, she is a BATTLER that you won’t outwork yet watching her show the turnaround jumper on the block was nice as well
Laynee Stanley-6’0 PF (Fusion 2025) 2025
Stanley just floors me every time I see her because she’s ADDING something to her game yet she’s also playing with more confidence and realizes her potential as she blocked shots, rebounded, and scored multiple ways
Kate Wernli-5’8 G (Griffin BB 2025 Elite) 2025
Wernli is hard to handle now so all bets are off as she’s heady, crafty, understands how to create her shot, and can just shoot the lights out from mid to long-range as well as attack and finish
Tyra McKennie-5’9 C (Griffin BB 2025 Elite) 2025
McKennie got something from me I rarely do and that’s players of yesteryear to now yet she reminded me so much of a young Nneka Ogwunike with her athleticism, agility, and snagging the ball out of the air, trust me

[player_tooltip player_id="211889" first="Shayla" last="Wofford"]-6’3 PF (Griffin BB 2022 Select) 2022
Wolford’s timing was impressive, yeah she’s 75 inches tall and probably has a 6’5 wingspan but watching her block shots multiple times on the same possession did it, she also alters and deflects, rebounds and finishes

[player_tooltip player_id="261728" first="Taneya" last="Howard"]-5’10 F (Swift 2023) 2023
Howard is long and athletic, remember that’s the base, and watching her acrobatic finishes after contact, her stop, and pop jumper, her rebounding and defending not to leave out her playing the passing lane, yes, yes, and YES
[player_tooltip player_id="261735" first="Julianna" last="Matlock"]-5’11 F (Swift 2023) 2023
Matlock is just one of those players that understand how to make things happen and defensively, she goes after everything off the rim, on the floor, and in the stands but she also rebounds and finishes

[player_tooltip player_id="249272" first="Christin" last="Callens"]-5’10 SG (Swift 2024) 2024
Callens uses her athleticism nicely, she defends well, on the ball and in the half-court plus she plays the passing lane which usually leads to scoring opportunities because she can handle the ball in the open court
Jill Twiehaus-5’9 SG (Swift 2024) 2024
Twiehaus has dropped close to double-digit 3 pointers in games I’ve watched so I can only imagine what she does when I’m not around. Her shot is fluid and smooth, she does a good job getting it off whenever she pleases
McKenzie Mathurin-5’9 CG (Swift 2024) 2024
Mathurin being called a #BCSLock is only for extra characters because she has those offers on the table before high school and I’ve watched this young lady elevate her game to score however she wants, whenever she wants in the team concept because she makes those around her better yet over the club season, I’ve observed her mindset, nit just thinking the game but not allowing herself to get flustered by the hard defense, she is on her way to huge things

Lil Thomas-6’1 PF (Fusion 2025) 2025
Wrigley Adkisson-6’1 SG (Swift 2024) 2025
