Lots of rising seniors will be looking to make a really strong “final” impression with college coaches. Below are some of the players that have a strong opportunity to improve their college recruitment and/or ranking.
Iliana Moran Iliana Moran 5'5" | CG Hanford | 2022 State WA (NW Blazers – Hanford HS)
This super quick and shifty 5’5 guard had another strong season for Hanford High School and Moran will look to carry that momentum into the all important month of July with the Northwest Blazers. Moran can score it in transition and defend using her anticipation skills and toughness.
Mia Rodriguez Mia Rodriguez 5'5" | CG Eisenhower | 2022 State WA (NW Magic – Eisenhower HS)
A strong and crafty 5’5 guard that can garner some small college attention. Rodriguez makes deceptive plays on the court and has above average passing ability. Her older brother is currently playing at Multnomah University and Mia could be on a similar path.
Taleya Maiden Taleya Maiden 5'8" | PG Pasco | 2022 State WA (NW Blazers – Pasco HS)
5’8 guard that is strong, fast and aggressive. Her best basketball is played on the defensive side of the ball where she can defend some ones, twos and threes. Her offensive skillset has made some strides over the years, but her hustle and heart is what can stand out most this July.
Kali Haizlip Kali Haizlip 5'9" | SF Emerald Ridge | 2022 State WA (NW Magic – Emerald Ridge HS)
A 5’9 G/W that is strong and athletic allowing her to make a good impact on the defensive end. She was solid for Emerald Ridge in the high school season and she will need to be assertive on the circuit this July in front of coaches to make things happen.
