I am turning around and heading back to our 2022 grads who will be seniors this upcoming season. There are piles of players in this class who have not committed to colleges; who have the potential, upside, and ability to play at all levels of college basketball. We need to get them noticed, publicized, and visible to every coach around the country. Many underrated kids here who will definitely blossom into great collegiate players. In this article, I will be covering five selected players in this class who I think have the capability to improve all elements of their game, can put up higher numbers, and who have some time here these next couple of months to better their overall skills and prove to college coaches how talented they are. Let’s put the cookies in the oven and get bakin’!

[player_tooltip player_id="129009" first="Trinity" last="Cheatom"], 5’5, PG, DM Roosevelt, 2022

--The definition of a true point guard. Pure and silky smooth in the transition game, and has an extremely high basketball IQ. Dishes out some nifty, spot on passes on the run. Can shoot the 3 ball, and has a pure stroke. Can finish at the rim in traffic. Is a pest on the defensive end. Great upside with loads of talent. Will be a phenomenal college player. 2. [player_tooltip player_id="63625" first="Sarah" last="Albaugh"], 5’8, G, Cedar Falls, 2022 --Quick, agile, athletic player. Produces on both ends of the floor. Can drain the 3 ball with a great shot. A fantastic ball handler. Brings a lot of energy to the table, and plays both sides of the floor with the same effort and tenacity. Great finisher at the rim. Will be a marvelous college player. 3. [player_tooltip player_id="63589" first="Kamryn" last="Grissel"], 5’8, G, Prairie, 2022 --A terrific off guard with outstanding skills on the perimeter. Runs the floor well and finishes in transition nicely. Good handle, can hit the 3, and put it on the floor and finish at the rim. Her feel for the game is at a high-level, and she delivers some excellent dimes to fellow teammates. Can also finish while getting hit in the lane on the drive, and is an elite overall athlete. Will be a tremendous college player. 4. [player_tooltip player_id="129021" first="Lainey" last="Thoren"], 5’11, F, Grundy Center, 2022 --Great shot blocker, big presence on the defensive end who can cause severe disruption with her long arms and length. A high-caliber post player with talented moves up her sleeve. Runs the floor well. An overall skilled player with a good height frame. Will continue to become a dominant overall player. Will be an outstanding college player. 5. Claire Schmitz, 5’10, F, Harlan, 2022 --Physical, aggressive, and is a dominant overall player. Has decent size at 5’10, and uses her long arms and size to her advantage. Can cause loads of destruction on the defensive end blocking shots and racking up the boards. Can score the basketball and is very offensive minded as well. Utilizes great post moves, and uses many of them to shake up defenders. Will be a lethal college player.
