Tatyonna Brown 6’1″ P.L.U.T.O. Prospects: A long and mobile southpaw 2025 post player who was easily the best shot blocker that I watched during the weekend. With her length and timing, she was able to block and challenge shots in the lane and out on the perimeter as well. She works hard on the boards and finishes well inside. She even stepped outside and hit a few mid-range jumpers off the catch.
Jayelin May Jayelin May 6'3" | C Lee's Summit North | 2026 State MO 6’2″ The Family Basketball Academy (pictured): The 2026 performer is an old-school back to the basket player who was a big problem inside with her height, strength and good fundamentals. She has soft hands and catches the ball well in traffic and keeps the ball up over her head. She also throws a nice outlet pass.
Jayla McClinton Jayla McClinton 6'2" | PF Raytown South | 2026 State MO 5’11″ The Family Basketball Academy: A 2025 forward who was one of the most active frontcourt players I watched during the weekend. She is a tenacious rebounder who did a nice job getting out of her area to grab boards. She operates well in the post with power moves and she also has a very effective turnaround jumper inside.
Regan Howe 6’0″ Southeast Dynasty: A 2025 forward who has a blue-collar approach to the game. She doesn’t shy away from the contact as she always looked to take the ball to the defenders inside. She did a good job at blocking out inside for rebounding position
Taryn Jacobs 5’11″ EYG 2025: A mobile 2025 forward who scores inside well and is quite active on the boards. She also does a good job running the court and getting out in transition. She also has the ability to put the ball on the floor and make a play on the drive or step out and hit a perimeter shot as well.
