Ciara Collins Ciara Collins CG Bristol Eastern | 2023 State New E 6’0 / Hybrid Forward/ Bristol Eastern High School/ CT spirit 22”
Ciara Collins Ciara Collins CG Bristol Eastern | 2023 State New E is a can’t miss scholarship level player. This past season she avg. 21/10 as a Jr to lead Bristol Eastern. At 6’0 Ciara versatility was put on display defending perimeter and interior opponents at a very high level. The most exciting part of her game is she crashes the offensive glass almost every position creating many second & third shot opportunities. Ciara is fundamentally sound with a more than efficient mid range game that is pronounced even more by her ability to use the shot fake rip through in a way that would make Bobby Knight proud. Athletically she moves very fluid, and runs the lane like a deer in transition. Extremely exciting young lady to watch! With interest from schools like Pace, Bentley, Stone Hill, Fairfield
Ania Mcmicheal 5’3/ Point Guard/ Suffield Academy/ CT Spirit 24”
Ania may be the shortest player on the floor in most situations, but speed kills and Ania has an abundance of it. Not only is she the fastest player from end to end on the court, she pairs that with shiftiness that leaves most defenders stuck when trying to stay in front of her. A throwback point guard who is constantly looking to set her teammates up for the best scoring opportunity. You run the lanes hard on the break she will find you with one of her jaw dropping one handed passes in transition. What I enjoyed most about watching her game was the level of leadership and extension of the coaching staff Ania is. She seems to be extremely vocal with coaches and teammates on both ends of the court and a joy to play with.
Shailyn Pinckney 5”11/ point Guard/ East Hartford High school/ CT Spirit 22”
What is there not to love about shay’s game! She has everything! The 2021 Gatorade CT player of the Year plays the game at a different pace then any other young lady I have seen in New England. Savvy like a veteran, well beyond her years. This 5’11 pass first Point guard can literally get to any spot on the court at anytime she would like. The unselfishness she brings to a very accomplished 2022( coach Tito) CT Spirit team is the cornerstone to what many have called the best girls AAU team in CT. Shailyn has the ability to start the offense off the defensive glass. She loves to throw the ball ahead to the shooters running the lane. Her ability to penetrate the defense and extremely crafty finishes at the rim are second to none. Surprisingly enough she also really shoots the ball well and has a consistent range beyond the 3pt line. Legit a triple double threat every time she steps on the floor. Shailyn has verbally committed to Seton Hall.
Tiara Tyson 5’8/ Hybrid Guard-Forward/ Manchester high school/ Ct Spirit 24”
Tiara is physically gifted, and a demon in the open court. She uses her strength to get to her spots and uses her body to create contact or finish at the hoop. One of her many high level talents is her second jump quickness ability. Many times she’s exploding up for the rebound while defenders are just gathering themselves. Tyson brings a next level motor to the floor every time she plays rather that being pressure defense, crashing offensive rebounds, or running in transition. Her ability to take bigger defenders out to the perimeter and blow by, and beast smaller defenders typically gives her the advantage in most one on one opportunities. Tiara is just touching the surface of her game and is already a force, with a few small D1 schools in contact already.
