The following Varsity teams included: Bishop Watterson, Brunswick, Grove City, Westfall, Amanda Clearcreek, Teays Valley, Dublin Coffman, Bloom Carroll, Worthington Kilbourne (A and B team), Central Crossing, Grandview Heights, Groveport, Hilliard Bradley, Newark, Reynoldsburg, and Pickerington Central. The next several articles, I will be taking a look at some kids who caught my attention!
Rylee Bess- 5’6, PG, 2025, Pickerington Central: College coaches, I’m telling you right now, if you’ve not seen this young lady play, you need to make it a priority! Beautiful handles, does not get rattled, great composure, and boy can she shoot the rock, from anywhere! Great outside range- extremely hard worker who has established excellent muscle memory in her ability to score through dribble penetration, mid range, and behind the arc. Just as strong on the defensive end! She is special, and certainly doesn’t play like an incoming freshman. (Featured Photo, with ball)
Jaden Tucker Jaden Tucker 5'6" | PG Pickerington Central | 2024 OH – 5’4, PG, 2024, Pickerington Central: (Below, shooting) Jaden is showing poise and maturity on the court, with her decision making, knowing when to set up the offense, as well as knowing when to be aggressive and attack the lane. Great eyes- sets up her teammates for high percentage shots. Very comfortable with the basketball, has great range in her shot, and is a killer with seeing split second seams in the lane! Strong defender, sits low, fundamentally strong.
Kiley Graham- 6’0, F, 2022, Bishop Watterson: Very impressed with her game, and what she brings to the team! Her size and strength are such an asset. Her position on the block, and footwork are very strong- she’s comfortable and confident in her ability to score. She holds her ground defensively, plays physical, fights for rebounds, and follows her shot well.
Alex Mosholder- 2024, Bishop Watterson: This talented athlete is not only strong on the softball diamond, but she can play one very aggressive game on the basketball court too! I love her quickness, plays aggressive defense, which really helped in creating turnovers and fast break opportunities. She’s got a strong battery and goes hard all game. Attacks the basket, strong court awareness.
Aubrey Price- G, 2025, Reynoldsburg: What an impressive player, who can put up a lot of points very quickly, great speed, and make opponents feel very uncomfortable while playing defense. How she changes direction and just glides while making difficult shots around the basket is so fun to watch! She plays under control, smooth. Reynoldsburg has a highly talented team, and this young lady will no doubt contribute and make their team even stronger.
