SCBCA Elite Camp: 2022 Top Performers – GUARDS

Read more in this article right here for the latest news. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="171758" first="Kynew" last="Barnwell"] - Whale Branch HS (pictured on front) </strong> Barnwell was for sure the smallest player on the Camp roster here today. Barnwell really came up big at times including scoring at the basket in the closing seconds to secure a win for her team today. Barnwell doesn't get dazed by playing against bigger guards at all. Kynew was able to connect on some perimeter jumpers and when she wasn't making crafty passes to her teammates today. Barnwell averaged 20.9 ppg last season in 11 games for the Lady Warriors (10-1). <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="194857" first="Mazari" last="Bennett"] - Woodmont HS (Piedmont)</strong> Bennett was able to pop off some screens for open looks today. Bennett has a nice shooting stroke from 3-point range and it showed today with her converting some. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="242926" first="CyAsia" last="Singletary"] - CE Murray HS (Greeleyville)</strong> Singletary plays off grid in Williamsburg County in the town of Greeleyville. Cy'Asia is in constant hustle mode while she plays the game. Najah uses the head-fake to draw defenders off the floor with her craftiness. Maia scored at the basket and from behind the 3-point line today. Brown was able to use a nice cross-over move to get by defenders. Maia picked up several steals today with her activity in the passing lanes. &nbsp;
