Prep Girls Hoops really enjoyed the action this Sunday up in Rock Hill from the SCBCA Elite Camp. The talent was out in full force for all the grades. Lets take a look at 2022 Top Performers from the Forward and POST positions right here. Prep Girls Hoops is your provider for all the latest basketball coverage in the State of South Carolina all year long. [player_tooltip player_id="185722" first="Ashari" last="Lewis"] - Keenan HS (pictured on front) Lewis was on top of her game all day long with stellar play. Ashari was able to knockdown jumpers and pick-up rebounds off the glass for quick put-backs. Lewis extended the defense with some three pointers she dropped in today. Ashari is a very versatile young lady who even brought the ball up the floor at times today. Lewis plays on the Grassroots Circuit with the SC76ers 17U Premier. [player_tooltip player_id="173096" first="Sommer" last="Joseph"] - Darlington HS Joseph played aggressive today and scored inside the paint for her team. Sommer has already to Queens (NC) (NCAA D2) after she finishes her career for the Lady Falcons. Joseph a true post player does all of her damage close to the cup. [player_tooltip player_id="266086" first="Nadia" last="Dial"] - Fort Mill HS Dial can really stretch the floor with her play. Nadia feels very comfortable knocking down the perimeter jumper and putting the ball on the deck like a guard. Deal can post-up down on the block with her back to the basket. Dial runs on the Grassroots Circuit with Lady Attack Elite - Fort Mill which includes [player_tooltip player_id="190144" first="Makayla" last="Street"]. [player_tooltip player_id="195519" first="Savannah" last="Porterfield"] - Byrnes HS Porterfield teamed up with [player_tooltip player_id="185722" first="Ashari" last="Lewis"] on here today at the SCBCA Elite Camp. Savannah was constantly around the ball if it was by scoring on a short jumper or picking up a steal on defense. Porterfield has a good basketball feel and IQ for the game. Savannah put herself all day long in good position to make a play. [player_tooltip player_id="185230" first="Quantashia" last="Davis"] - Aiken HS Quantashia played very well today with her activity to the basket and scoring on put-backs around the glass. Davis runs the floor very well from forward position. Quantashia was extremely active in the passing lane picking up some steals with her great length. [player_tooltip player_id="190144" first="Makayla" last="Street"] - Rock Hill HS Makayla just plays extremely hard at all times when she’s on the floor for the Lady Bearcats. Makayla really understands where to be on the floor to be successful to make a play. Street runs the floor very well along with filling the lane in transition. [player_tooltip player_id="286194" first="Jasmine" last="Grant"] - Summerville HS Grant really doesn’t say much while she’s on the floor playing. Jasmine does a good job patrolling the paint by altering and challenging shots. Grant runs the floor very well and at times looks like she’s gliding around the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="251273" first="Avery" last="Plyler"] - Buford HS Plyler felt most comfortable playing out on the wing. Plyler has good shooting mechanics on her shot and tends to be more of a spot up shooter. [player_tooltip player_id="185724" first="Kori" last="Peterman"] - Dutch Fork HS Kori played really hard today when she was on the floor. Peterman was able to complete some mid-range jumpers along with some floaters in the paint. Kori played well away from the ball and was afraid to get on the floor for a loose ball at times today. [player_tooltip player_id="174562" first="Mikenzie" last="Kinard"] - Ridge Spring - Monetta HS Kinard is more of back to the basket bruising type post player. Kinard does a good job playing on contact and rebounding on both ends of the floor. Mikenzie didn’t receive many touches in the paint today to see her offensive skill set.
