When looking at the Prep Girls Hoops Michigan updated class of 2022 prospect rankings, 1 thing is very obvious - DEPTH! There is a lot of talent at every position. The point guard position has high level prospects up and down the list. To display the depth, let's look at the top 5 floor generals, starting at #101.

Rea has really made a statement about her game. She's terrific against pressure defense, not just handling it, but often turning it into an advantage for her team offensively. Rea has a solid post entry pass, putting the ball on target and putting her teammates in position to score. Rea can play at a fast pace and is a very good finisher at the rim in transition.

It all starts on the defensive end with Sims. She plays defense the entire length of the floor and seems to be constantly checking the offense for an opportunity to make a play. Sims creates a lot of havoc and turnovers on D which she can turn into transition offense. She has a nice looking jumper with definite 3 point range on it.

Smith is a very physically strong lead guard. She has excellent handles and seems to always be in complete control of the ball. Smith is excellent at sizing up her defender and using her ball handling skills to create space. This helps her get a lot of open looks at the rim and opportunities to drive and dish.

Walter is a perfect fit for the modern day trends in basketball. She's a solid and efficient ball handler and floor leader that can fill it up from behind the arc. Walter is a threat to shoot and score from basically anywhere around the arc. She shoots at a high percentage and is a bona fide game changer with her 3 point shot.

Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking: #113
Bartlett is an exciting player to watch. She has deep 3 point range on her jumper and she knows it. She moves the ball, but is very aware of when an open look might be available from beyond the arc. Bartlett has a really nice shot fake that seems to send a lot of defenders sprawling. She’s very comfortable working from the top of the key to her right.
