Mallory Mullen Mallory Mullen 6'0" | PF Springfield Catholic Central | 2022 OH , 6-0 2022, Springfield Catholic Central
What can be said about this incredible athlete, except she showed an improved skillset in her game. Coming off a state track title, she was still getting into a basketball mindset, but she outjumps everyone, great on the boards, and can score at the rim with a strong move. Great in transition and can finish. (feature photo above)
Olivia Skillings, 5-7 2024, Mechanicsburg
Has really improved her game, and showed more of a leadership and confidence than when I saw her last season. She showed good explosiveness to the rim with good body control. Also has good handles and anticipates well on the defensive side of the ball. Olivia runs the show in transition well and a solid floor general, is a good passer and finds her teammates. She also does an excellent job changing directions.
Maleah Murphy, 5-3 2022, Urbana
Going into her junior season, I was impressed with her ability to show grit and intensity on the court. She showed a lot of quickness and moved well without the ball. She has good handles, able to deal with pressure and was a threat from the perimeter. Has three-point range and also can push the tempo on the break.
Ava Williams, 5-4 2024, Fairborn
This kid is improving all the time, and has shown a more mature game since the last time I saw her play. She can score in a variety of ways, including a three-point shot that has gotten better, but she also has shown the tendency to drive to the rim and score. Good handles for her age, can finish right or left and actually has been working on a Euro-step that she showed in the event.
Claire Henry, 5-8 2023, Greenon
A key returning player for the Knights, Claire has a great knack for the ball. She can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim as she showed a lot of athleticism from her position. Has good range, able to pull the trigger from behind the arc, and she runs the floor well and controls the tempo. Able to guard multiple positions.
