<em>The <strong>2021 National Championship </strong>ran the final 3 days of the July eval period from July 23-25. The event welcomed 400+ teams from all over the country competing in 17U division all the way down to 11U. The game of the night was a double OT thriller where East Coast United Family 2023 won on the final shot defeating TN Flight Navy Newman 2022 to advance in bracket play. The game featured several top prospects on East Coast United across several classes. </em><em>Here are some of the 2022 and 2023 standouts from day 2. </em>

<img class=" wp-image-310964 alignright" style="font-size: 1rem;" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/07/IMG_2381-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="228" height="228" /><strong>Nadine Ognenivic</strong> 6’0 F – G Nation Silver
Ognenivic played very hard and aggressive on both ends. She has a high activity level and is very persistent on the boards. She is not afraid to mix it up and get dirty. She pursues balls and love to take charges.
<strong>Deryanis Colon Velez</strong> 5’5 PG and <strong>Prema Duarte</strong> 5’6 PG - G Nation Silver
Both are small, pesky guards who play hard and are very physically and mentally strong. They get after it on both ends and do not take a possession off. They have decent handle and are aggressive penetrators who attack the rim.

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="243971" first="Sydney" last="Blue"]</strong> 5’8 PG – BD Thunder
Blue is an athletic, skilled combo guard who is under the radar. She has a smooth game with a solid overall offensive skill set. She plays very consistent and is a contributor on both sides of the ball.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="220008" first="Lauren" last="Lockhart"]</strong> 5’10 F – FGB Runnin Rebels
Lockhart is a tall athletic strong wing/forward who is very active and is an aggressive rebounder. She was a joy to watch as she was constantly around the ball and a selfless player that set the tone on both ends of the floor for her teammates.
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>2023</strong></span>
<strong><img class="wp-image-310962 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/07/223487356_1723516317834396_8672741532449265831_n-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="251" height="251" />[player_tooltip player_id="247129" first="Kendra" last="Bentley"]</strong> 5’8 Guard – FGB Runnin’ Rebels
Bentley is a big, strong guard who has solid handle and can score. She has consistently been one of the FGB Runnin’ Rebals top players throughout the summer.
<strong>Brooke Buckman</strong> 5’10 F – G Nation Silver
Buckman played very hard and aggressive on both ends. Her and her teammate [player_tooltip player_id="220008" first="Lauren" last="Lockhart"] hold down the interior for G Nation with a high activity level and being persistent on both the offensive and defensive boards. She got her hands on a lot of balls and was the first to dive for a 50/50 ball or take a charge.
<strong><img class=" wp-image-310960 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/07/IMG_2061.jpg" alt="" width="314" height="209" />[player_tooltip player_id="91638" first="Emma" last="Risch"]</strong> 6’2 PG – East Coast United 2023 Family
Risch did not have her best game when I saw her with but I loved her energy & intensity on both ends. She played hard on both ends & handled the ball at the PG position most of the game with no turnovers leading her squad to a double OT win.
<strong>Yakiya Milton</strong> 6’3 Wing/Forward - East Coast United 2023 Family
Her game has made tremendous strides. She has a slender build but is super long and athletic. She can put it to floor and get to rim in 1-2 dribbles from 3-point line. She is a major stock riser!
