2024: Outside the Top 20 – Point Guards

The NCAA July Evaluation Period is in full swing. Who are some players outside the Top 20 in the 2024 Palmetto State Class ? Lets take a look at some of these point guards right here. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="197060" first="Devon" last="Yarde"] - Hilton Head Christian (pictured on front)</strong> Yarde runs with H2 Lowco which recently went (4-0) at the LBI Carolina Summer Showcase in Concord, NC. Sanders helped the Lady Gamecocks get to the Class 5A State Championship this past March. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="242928" first="Jakiah" last="McDuffie"] - South Aiken HS </strong> McDuffie was a player Prep Girls Hoops first play back in November 2020 last year at Brookland Cayce HS. Taylor was a key player in the run for to Aiken (Not Columbia) this past season for Head Coach Chasen Redd. The Lady Bulldogs defeated Philip Simmons 51-40 in the Lower State Championship Game. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="243455" first="Virginia" last="Byrd"] - Lucy Beckham HS (Mount Pleasant) </strong> Byrd averaged 10.3 ppg for the Lady Bengals last season. Lucy Beckham HS officially opened its door last season.
