Tai Baldwin (University Christian 2022) continued her stellar play on Day 2 of Splash with a 20 point – 6 assist performance. Baldwin scored on all 3 levels, including a few 3 pointers. Her signature play was penetrating and dishing to teammates. Baldwin’s passing skills have been on display this week at Splash.
Emily McIntosh 2022 had a strong shooting performance on day 2 of Orlando Splash. In game 2 of the day, the lefty connected on 3 threes and had 7 assists. McIntosh really impresses with her quickness and ball-handling abilities. When she runs an isolation play, she is nearly impossible to stay in front of. If she is double-teamed, she can find the open teammate.
Dyllan Hanna (Bartrum 2022) stood out on day 2 of Orlando Splash. Just watching her run the floor at her size at 6’3″ was impressive. Her passion for her craft was just an awesome site as well. She was rejecting shot after shot, and the ones she couldn’t get to were altered.
Janiyah Jackson Janiyah Jackson 6'2" | C St Augustine | 2022 State FL (St. Augustine 2022) continued her solid play on Day 2 of Orlando Splash. Her ability to run the floor was on display. Jackson was again solid on the defensive end. She controlled the defensive rebounds around the basket, and she was quick to loose balls on the floor. She also kept a few possessions alive with her offensive rebounds.
Sophia Rueppell Sophia Rueppell 5'9" | PG Bishop Kenny | 2023 State FL (2023) was raining 3s on Day 2 with a lot more consistency. Her ability to shoot the ball is an impressive thing to watch. She can string multiple baskets together with the best of them.
Jazmine Jackson Jazmine Jackson 5'7" | PG Jackson HS | 2022 State FL (Andrew Jackson 2022) was a presence on Day 2. As usual, she was dynamic in the open court, but her defense caught my eye today. She harassed the opposition’s point guard all day and was turning steals into scores. She has the ability to stay in front of the opposition and prevent drives to the basket.
