Insider Exposure Summer Slam: Day 2 2022 Guards Lady Attack Elite

Day 2 at the Insider Exposure Summer Slam saw a lot of great 2022 talent. These girls just happen to all play for the same organization. <a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/07/Hudson-Rixham-scaled-crop-1921x1261-1627745602.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-312477 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/07/Hudson-Rixham-scaled-crop-1921x1261-1627745602-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a>[player_tooltip player_id="253895" first="Hudson" last="Rixham"] (SG) is effective on all areas of the court going after rebounds, and she can handle the ball pushing it up the court. She is utilized in many areas from handling the ball at the top of the key or dropping down to the block on cuts. She reads opposing offenses well knowing when to jump into passing lanes. She made sure to show off her shooting range, too, especially championship Sunday hitting a game winning three pointer. Lauren Horton (SG) has a quick release on her shot making it difficult for others to get any<a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/07/Lauren-Horton-scaled-crop-1921x1261-1627745645.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-312479 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/07/Lauren-Horton-scaled-crop-1921x1261-1627745645-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a> chance at blocking it. Her shot was on display behind the arc. Even on her few misses, she was telling her teammates where the rebound was going to go to try for a second chance. Her vision was apparent finding open teammates underneath the basket. [player_tooltip player_id="219810" first="Monique" last="Cepeda"] (SG) battles through contact making some old fashioned three point plays. Her IQ is on full display with the way she moves on the court deciding what gaps to fill and how to get open. She seems to find herself on the free throw line quite a bit because opponents see the only way to stop her as fouling. She runs the floor well waiting for passes in transition. She hustles back on defense even showing off her ability to block shots from opponents trying to score on fast breaks. She doesn’t hesitate to dive on the floor for loose balls. She did well running coast to coast with a rebound and scoring her own points on a fast break. [player_tooltip player_id="295033" first="Kyndall" last="Shivers"] (SG, #14 pictured above) is a great ball handler knowing exactly when and how to pass the ball to her teammates. She does well drawing opponents to her in order to open up her teammates for a jump shot. She showed off her own shot, too, shooting from deep.
