These players are not the superstars on their team at the moment, but they play vital roles in the team's success this upcoming season.    A small guard that shoots the ball well. Taylor does a nice job of having her feet set and ready to shoot when the ball is delivered to her. She has good accuracy beyond the arc. There are times when defenders would come running out to contest the three-point shot and she would drive pass them and use a floater up and over the defense in the paint.     A transfer from Millbrook High School Korryn is trying to find her way with her new team. The sooner she gains confidence and becomes that third scoring guard for Wakefield the more success they will be able to have. Dixon has a quick first step on offense attacking the rim. If she learns to finish consistently, she can become a big threat for their offense. Defensively, she can be very good and cause other ball handlers' problems.     South Garner does not have many missing pieces but if this young lady can continue to fill the role as a dominant center they will be even better. Moore knows how to post up and take up space that allows others on her team to find ways to score. If she can get her shots off and stay a force on the boards, her team's success rate goes off the charts.     Gia will play more of a vital role than most people even realize. If teams start trying to focus in on some of her superstar teammates, she is going to be that missing piece that they cannot stop. She has a solid three point shot and can get in the paint and play off two feet. Those two things make her deadly. Her aggressiveness and tenacity on defense will be a huge spark that will lead into more transition points.     A young post player that has a ton of potential. She has nice post moves and can create her own shot in the paint. Janee is also a solid rebounder on both sides of the ball and does a good job of altering shots on defense. She is definitely a missing piece that could help Pisgah this season.     A tough nosed player that does all of the little things for her team. She can set a mean screen to get her shooters open. She will knock down an elbow jumper. She will crash boards like her life depends on it. Her role and the way she plays it with so much determination can get Northern Guilford over the hump this season.     A solid all-around player that is aggressive getting to the rim. She is physically strong and explosive. Ashlyn is a hard worker and works tirelessly on both ends. She can be a major threat and add a lot of fire power to an already dominant North Lincoln team.     A long and lanky point guard that doesn't realize the impact she has on her team. If Arianna plays confident and passionate she could be a major factor in her team's success. She has to be more of a scoring threat this year for Myers Park to turn the corner. Her defensiveness prowess is her strength right now.     An energy player that makes everyone around her better because when she steps out on the court, she brings it every time. She is a good defender that causes her opponents issues due to her physicality and intensity. If there is a loose ball she is going to get on the ground after it. She also can be a play maker on offense for her loaded Mallard Creek team.     A kid that will do whatever her team ask of her. She can knock down shots from deep or she can set up the offense for her team and keep them under control. Sanaya plays a heady game and makes good decisions with the ball. Her ball handling has gotten better as a play maker and she seems to be playing with a lot of confidence right now.
