Some articles will include strictly Indiana prospects, while others might include other Midwestern or National prospects. Below is a look at five young ladies who I felt stood out with their play in the games I was able to see yesterday at the Run 4 The Roses Classic in Louisville, Kentucky. With it being the final day of action, there weren’t nearly as many games throughout the day.

This Spring/Summer has been my first opportunity to see Trinity in a couple of years. She is a really nice athlete in all directions, she has some length, wiry strength, and she is playing with a really nice motor. She’s a multilevel scorer who can make shots outside, she has a solid pull-up, but she’s probably best putting her head down and attacking the basket. She uses her broad shoulders and strength to power through defenders and finished around the basket. I also like how much she’s improved her sense of urgency defensively.

Lauryn is somewhat under the radar right now, but her participation this Spring and Summer should really help her find opportunities at the next level. She is a point forward type of prospect, she has really nice poise to her game, and she can handle and run offense, she does a nice job of pushing and finding teammates in transition, but she also values the basketball and doesn’t force the action. She is a capable scorer at all levels, but she is more of a “glue” kid, willing to do whatever it takes to help her teams win.

It has been fun watching Elizabeth’s game progress in just the last 12 months. She has probably grown three inches in that span, she’s noticeably stronger, but more importantly, she is playing with much more confidence and assertiveness. She’s always had other good guards around her on her grassroots team, but now she’s starting to take the reins as the leader of her team. She has been a playmaker all Spring/Summer, she is taking and making big shots, and she’s defending at a high level. And there’s likely a lot more to come.

Southridge | 2025

, 2025, 5-8 CG, Southridge H.S.
The 2025 class is really strong in the Evansville area, and while you might like one of the other prospects better right now, Avah very well could have the most potential of the group. To start with, having a 2021 brother who is 6-5 and a 2022 sister who is 6-1, the odds of her still growing are pretty good. Additionally, she has great length, fluidity, and some bounce. She can handle the ball and run offense, she can change directions and make plays off the dribble, plus she can shoot/score the ball from the wing position.
Ryiah Wilson

South Bend Washington | 2025

, 2025, 5-7 PG, South Bend Washington H.S.
As if South Bend Washington needed any more talent, Ryiah has the opportunity to both come in and earn some clock right away, plus she’ll be able to learn from talented and experienced backcourt members already there. Ryiah is extremely long, wiry-strong, and athletic in all directions, including vertically. She has a nonstop motor and flies around the floor at both ends. She can make plays and cause turnovers defensively, plus she’s a pass-first creator offensively who does a nice job of collapsing defenses and finding teammates.
