Today, we take a look at four more uncommitted seniors from Northwest Ohio heading into a big month of July.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="212896" first="Carly" last="Maple"], 5-9 G, Sylvania Northview</span></strong></span>
A familiar name from this summer, Carly <em>(feature photo above) </em>has put together a solid travel season so far for Athlete HQ. She is a versatile guard who can get to the basket and is a consistent threat behind the three-point arc. She has improved her ability to play both guard positions which will help her at the next level. Good leadership and floor sense.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Emma Pedroza, 5-9 G, Napoleon</strong></span>
Very crafty underrated leftie who plays the guard spot well. She has good athleticism and can score from at all three levels on the court. She is an underrated defender who can cause havoc on the defensive end. Big time rebounder out of the guard position. A key part of last years state championship, will return to lead them again.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Yaya String, 5-8 G, Bowsher </span></strong></span>
What a great athlete who can create so much on the court, and do a lot of damage to her opponents. Another leftie, she not only has incredible athleticism but great speed to match. She really is a nightmare matchup problem for opposing guards and has improved her ability to score off the dribble.
<span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong>Madi Michaelson, 6-0 C, Sylvania Northview</strong></span>
Very good touch around the rim and she also has solid moves with her back to the basket. She also has some good range from the perimeter and is a good rebounder. Defensively she is a difference maker with a solid shot blocking ability. Continuing to improve her foot speed with a very strong body.
<span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong>Jen Pryor, 6-0 C, Toledo Central Catholic</strong></span>
She is another 6-foot center who has the ability to finish well around the rim. She can play post at a smaller school and is a good student off the court. She can run the floor well with a good game IQ. Also has good shot blocking abilities and can see the floor well with good passing skills.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="269382" first="Marisa" last="Seiler"], 5-10 CG, Wauseon</span></strong></span>
She would be a great fit for a good NAIA level school, in fact a steal at that level. Needs to develop quicker footspeed to take her game to a higher level but she kid can play the game very well. She knows the game, is very skilled and has the ability to lead a team in the right system.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="159375" first="Alysia" last="Lawson"], 5-8 G, Bowsher</span></strong></span>
Among this group she is likely the most athletic kid, and very talented. Very good defender and can score. She is ready to have a great season and open some eyes of coaches who have not seen her yet. The surprise kid of this group.
