Riley Heitkamp, 5-7 G, Fort Loramie
Plays bigger than she is, she has played behind 2 unbelievable senior classes and she has been overlooked. Any normal year she is a starter for anyone else. She is a terrific outside shooter, confident and deep range. Loves to penetrate the key and get shots off without being blocked. Great court vision and find the open players. Defensively, she is a gnat and gets deflections in half court and three-quarters court. Loramie needs to find points this season, she will one of the biggest offensive leaders.
Mackenzie Hurd Mackenzie Hurd 5'10" | CG Nelsonville York | 2022 State OH , 6-0 G, Nelsonville York
This guard is a very well rounded player with a lot of skills. She was out recovering from an ACL injury but she is back and looking stronger than ever. Getting back into conditioning. Can get to the rim well and she is a very solid rebounder for her size. Can take over a game at anytime, A good facilitator. Loves to push the ball north-south and lead in transition. Getting stronger physically. Sleeper for any school to take, hidden gem. (pictured left)
Sarah Johnson, 6-1 P, Troy Christian
She has improved her ability to score this summer in multiple ways and has improved her ball skills by committing herself to be relentless in the gym. She has shown some positive recruitment and has become a force in southwest Ohio on both ends of the floor. She will be a natural leader this season.
Serenity Castle Serenity Castle 5'8" | CG Springfield Catholic Central | 2022 OH , 5-8 W, Springfield Catholic
What a summer she has enjoyed playing for the Dayton Metro. She has been highlighted on here in a couple of PGH events in the spring, and her game continues to grow. She continues to shine from the point guard spot, showing great court vision and can find the open player. Serenity (pictured left) is drawing some college attention heading into her senior season. Outstanding perimeter game, able to get to the rim and score with either hand.
Abby Wolterman Abby Wolterman 6'1" | SF Cincinnati Mount Notre Dame | 2022 State OH , 6-1 W, Cincinnati Mount Notre Dame
Very much underrated with a lot of outstanding basketball skill and knowledge of the game. She has shown this summer the tendency to score in clutch times against big teams. Can put the ball on the floor, get to the rim and play through contact. Long and athletic, Abby (feature photo above) can beat you in many ways including a good midrange and perimeter game. Solid defender, creates opportunities for her team. Plays with the talented Cincinnati Angels program.
Ma’Kaylia Lute, 5-4 G, Huber Heights Wayne
She is the ultimate team leader that every coach is looking for. She is an extension of the coach on the court and controls the offensive flow and is a knockdown shooter from behind the arc. Extremely quick and hard to guard off the dribble. Defensively she can take the other teams best ball handler out of the game.
Jaleah Stiner, 5-9 F, Huber Heights Wayne
She joins her fellow senior Wayne Warrior as a player who can play at the next level. She is the enforcer that teams need. A hard nosed, leftie wing who is comfortable taking smaller defenders to the post and bigger players to the perimeter. She is also an excellent rebounder for her position. Strong enough to defend the four-spot on the block and moves well enough to defend slashing wings on the outside.
