<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>17u All-Dakota First Team</strong></em></span>
[player_tooltip player_id="14245" first="Ndjakalenga" last="Mwenentanda"], 6’3 2022, All Iowa Attack 17U EYBL. Recently committed to the University of Texas, Mwenentanda has been ripping opponents apart. She’s a special talent with very versatile skills. Her length creates such a match problem on both ends of the floor. Mwenentanda is a generational talent with endless potential. She remains me of DeWanna Booner of the Connecticut Suns.
[player_tooltip player_id="100419" first="Logan" last="Nissley"], 5’9, 2023, North Tarten 17U EYBL, Nissley, a North Dakota native and reigning player of the year, continued were she left off the high school season. Nissley has a scoring point guard mentality. She’s able to knife through the defense to get to any spot she wants.
[player_tooltip player_id="100467" first="Hilary" last="Behrens"], 6’2, 2023, SD Network BlueStar 17u-Sean, Behrens is coming of an impressive AAU season. She showed she can score from all three levels, rebound at a high rate and defend multiple positions. Plenty of D1 schools has taken notice of her skills and upside.
[player_tooltip player_id="14244" first="Hannah" last="Ronsiek"], 6’1 2022, South Dakota Attack, The Colorado State University commit is coming off a solid but impressive summer season. Ronsiek showed a little bit more versatility. She was able to run the point, move to the two guard and even played some four position. Her SD Attack team had a few injuries which allowed her to show off more of her skill set. Ronsiek is now a more complete player offensively.
[player_tooltip player_id="261993" first="Maleighya" last="Estes"], 5’8 2022, Sacred Hoops-All Native/Morrison/Team Unity, Estes is a bouncy type of player. She can create any shot off the dribble, attack the rim and finish through contact. She’s an improved three-point shooter with a solid mid-range shot. One of the more freelancing style, which I like to see.
[player_tooltip player_id="99729" first="Kylah" last="VanDonkersgoed"], 6’2 2022, Pentagon Schoolers-Brown, VanDonkersgoed has improved so much over the summer. Typically a back to the basket post player, VanDonkersgoed became more of a stretch type of forward. Her perimeter game has expanded to outside the three-point line. On top of banging in the post, she is now a reliable mid-range asset. She recently committed to Wayne State.
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>17u All-Dakota Second Team</strong></em></span>
[player_tooltip player_id="99731" first="Taliyah" last="Hayes"] 5’9 2022, SD Network BlueStar 17u-Sean, Hayes is coming off one of the best summer campaigns in recent years. She’s known for her toughness and relentlessness attacking ways. However, this summer she showed she can score from all three levels. On top of being a highly efficient scoring, Hayes is not afraid to take on anyone on the defensive side.
Brooklyn Meyer, 6’2 2022, South Dakota Attack 17U, Meyer looks like a college player already. From her size and strength to her skill set to her overall development into an elite player. Meyer fits the mode. The South Dakota State University commit is ready for the next level.
[player_tooltip player_id="14180" first="Terryn" last="Johnson"], 2022, ND Pro 2022 A Minnesota State- Moorhead commit, Johnson is a great team leader. A very strong and physical player, Johnson is a handful for defenders. She rebounded at a high rate all summer long. She uses her strength and size to get great position and high points the ball.
[player_tooltip player_id="178828" first="Josie" last="Hill"], 6’2 2022, Sacred Hoops-All Native/Morrison, Hill is full of energy and is the battery of her team. Which means, she gets them going. From her natural athletic length to her ability to move and slash through the lane, Hill is not a typical post player. She can create different matchup and defensive schemes with her versatilely.
Avery Koenen, 6’2 2023, Pentagon Schoolers-Brown, Koenen was one of my favorite players to watch this year. She’s not a household name, but that will change. She’s another slashing type of player. The new aged long and lanky players that can be used in multiple situations. Tones of upside.
Emily Dreckman, 2022, United Sports Academy Elite 2022, Dreckman showed tones of growth through the season, especially while playing on the PGH Circuit. Dreckman is multi-talented player, who can play multiple positions. She ones of those player who does a little of everything. She can defend, she can score, she’s a great teammate and they love playing with her. Recently commited to Kirkwood Community College.
