Each of the players below that I mention really exceeded all of the expectations that I had when showing up to watch these games. This is a talented group of kids that I can’t wait to follow over the next few years to see how they continue to grow their game.
2025 5’9″ #9 Janiyah Williams Janiyah Williams 5'9" | PG Edmond Memorial | 2025 State OK (Banshees Sadler 15u)
Every time that I watch Janiyah play, I want to find out when her next game starts. She is so fluent in the game of basketball that she just seems to glide when on the court. With high D1/BCS offers already, Williams is a player to look out for in the future. She is explosive when getting to the basket but has a soft touch when shooting from outside of the perimeter. Takes care of the ball through pressure and makes it look easy. Defends the ball hard and fights to get the stop. She doesn’t let up when she is on the floor no matter how long she has been in for. All gas, no brakes. A top prospect in the 2025 class.
2025 6’1″ #25 Megan Yarnevich (Power Move Black 17u)
Yarnevich is an extremely aggressive guard that wants to drive hard with her left hand at any open opportunity that she has. She is a skilled athlete that can handle the ball well and do whatever her team needs from her in that specific game. Has good full-court vision and finds the open teammate with ease. If a team member’s look isn’t there, she can take matters into her own hands by finishing through traffic or knocking down the mid-range jumper. Megan also makes it difficult for the defenders to possess the rebound due to how physical she is around the basket.
2025 6’0″ #33 Laynee Stanley Laynee Stanley 6'0" | PF Fort Gibson | 2025 State OK (Banshees Sadler 15u)
Laynee is a very recent Oklahoma State commit that I have seen grow tremendously just from the start of the AAU season. She has continued to gain confidence and skills on the court along the way and truly is such a fun player to watch. Has the ability to finish at the rim or find the open teammate on the perimeter for a knock-down three. Stanley is a very unselfish player that will celebrate any teammate’s success. She hit a clutch, mid-range pull-up to secure a tough win in sudden-death overtime against an older, very athletic EYBL team. This girl really knows how to bring the momentum for her squad. Excited to see what the future holds for this one!
2025 6’3″ #44 Erin Miller (Power Move Black 17u)
This is a big that can MOVE!! Miller runs the floor very well and is always alert/ready to get back on defense. As a 2025 playing up on a talented and athletic 17u Power Move Black team, she still manages to stand out above the rest. She can compete down low with some of the top 2022 bigs that have signed with major D1 schools and really makes it tough for the other team around the rim. Erin hit a few open mid-range shots to keep the game close but still has a lot of time to completely master her jumper. Has great vision after D-board to find the outlet for a quick transition.
