Most of the players who transferred were instrumental in the success of their former teams and were to be factored into their former team’s plans for this upcoming high school season. Now the players listed below will be major contributors or even the catalyst for a great fortune on their new teams.
Yakiya Milton (2023 ) was one of the main players over the last few years at Robert E Lee High School. This upcoming season Milton will be playing at University Christian High School in Jacksonville Over the summer, Milton began to put it all together during travel ball and by the end of the summer, Milton had received several D-1 offers. Milton will team up with Tai Baldwin at University Christian High School. The combination of these players will make UC a very competitive team and likely the team to beat in their District.
Sophia Rueppell Sophia Rueppell 5'9" | PG Bishop Kenny | 2023 State FL (2023) will take her talents to Bishop Kenny High School this year. Last year Rueppell was solid at DME in Daytona, FL . Some great players departed from BK last year and adding Rueppell is a great start at feeling that void. Rueppell can shoot the ball with the best of them and is one of the top 2023 recruits on the First Coast. She has already received several offers.
Zoriah Mobley Zoriah Mobley 5'9" | SG San Jose Prep | 2022 State FL (2022) has relocated to San Jose Prep. The sharpshooting lefty was one of the main players at Terry Parker last season and will continue that role at San Jose Prep. Mobley can fill it up from anywhere on the court and that talent is the reason Mobley already has a college offer and has garnered a lot of college interest.
Samantha Hardison Samantha Hardison 5'9" | SG Orange Park | 2022 State FL (2022) will suit up for Orange Park Lady Raiders this basketball season. Hardison, the former standout at Middleburg, is a tenacious defensive player who thrives on getting steals and rebounding. The lefty also has a good offensive game. She is a slasher, loves taking the ball to the rack, and has also added the 3-ball to her game. The swords are definitely “up” for the Lady Raiders with the addition of Hardison.
Kiana Wilson (2022) has taken her game from Terry Parker High School to San Jose Prep. The athletic guard can defend, drive the ball, and handle the ball. Wilson is just an all-around talented player. Instantly, she and teammate Zoriah Mobley Zoriah Mobley 5'9" | SG San Jose Prep | 2022 State FL make San Jose Prep a strong contender.
