Continue ReadingIt was only a short while ago that I was singing her praises in one of my last articles but since then so much has happened. Paris started warming up in the spring and is ending the summer like a mid-August heatwave, scorching. Let’s take look at all of her accomplishments from the past few months.
Paulina got off to a quick start in the month of April by being named to the NEYC 32 all-tournament team at Boo Williams Super Regional. She followed that up with two MVP performances in the month of May. The first at Omni Elite Classic and again at the Philly Face-Off where she also helped bring home the championship. As the summer progressed so did she. Whenever the Sparks needed her she answered the call. In her first game at the Run for the Roses, she nailed a game-winning drive to the basket with time expiring that ultimately led to the gold division championship. The following week at the Battle in the Boro she put in another all-tournament performance. This really set the stage for the Nike EYBL Nationals. After putting on a show all summer it was time for her curtain call. She earned first-team honors and was the leading scorer averaging almost 25 points/game.
Time and time again she’s proved herself against the top competition in the country so it’s time to recognize Paulina Paris as one of the top guards in the state and nation.
