She is athletic, she is strong, she is quick and she will be one of the leaders on this talented team. Her shot is more consistent from the arc, she is efficient from the midrange pull up and she is a terror getting to the basket and drawing the hoop and harm. 2024, 6’0, SF, Sierra Canyon HS, Leia Edwards – Edwards is a tough forward with a nice body type, she is capable of rebounding very well and she is a ton under the rim. She scores off the pick and roll, she sets a solid screen and rolls to the rim for easy buckets. She rebounds out of her position and makes plays for her teammates. She will help her team score in the paint and also defend well in the paint and deter some shots and layups coming to the basket. She is a great fit to help this team win.
2023, 6’0, CG, Sierra Canyon HS, Crystal Wang – Crystal is a solid lefty that knows how to play the game, she is very good on the boards and defends very well. She is agile enough to get the rebound and start the break, she runs the floor like a gazelle and can finish in transition. She has great size and uses it well on the floor, she can catch and finish in the paint off the seal as well as knock down the midrange from the free-throw line.
