2022 Rankings: New Forwards

These small forwards have a lot of versatility all over the court. For that reason, they have been added to the 2022 rankings. [player_tooltip player_id="322061" first="Maya" last="Chocano"] | Chestnut Park Chocano has stepped into the Charlotte scene and immediately stole the spotlight. She shows off a lot of versatility on the court bringing the ball up with speed and finding her open teammates. She battles through contact and finishes at the rim. Don’t step back and wait for her to drive because she can certainly shoot from deep. She is aggressive going after rebounds, and she knows how to use second chance opportunities to score some points. [player_tooltip player_id="322068" first="Maddie" last="Shannon"] | Charlotte Latin Shannon (pictured above) has been shining at Charlotte Latin, and she certainly continued that this summer with Lady Attack Elite. She knows how to drive through her opponents showing no fear of anyone trying to stop her. She makes effective cuts into the paint knowing exactly when to time her moves and catch the pass. Her post moves are lethal, and she has a nice jump stop to put up her shot. Teams are also going to have a hard time stopping her reverse layup. [player_tooltip player_id="322069" first="Jahmaria" last="Miles"] | Williams Miles seems to have a magnet constantly drawing her towards the paint. She can handle the ball well showing off spin moves to get there herself, or she finds ways to post up waiting for the entry pass to score. Her length is certainly an asset when going after rebounds, blocking shots, and reaching up for some passes from her teammates in transition. She has a nice pull up jumper she can show off, too.
