She’s a fierce competitor who works as hard on her game as any kid we’ve seen. She represents 43 Hoops during the AAU season and has the ability to be special. She’ll get her chance to put herself on the map as she’s poised to be a major piece for the St. Anthony varsity program this winter.
Andie Brisk – We ran across this gem during the State Prelims in May and it left us wanting more. She just gets it done. Brisk, who hails from Centennial, runs the floor like a gazelle and finishes through contact despite standing only about 5’7″ with a slight, but toned frame. Andie has a pretty jump shot and seems to really enjoy playing with teammates in the Start Strong program.
Hadley Thul – Hadley has been flying relatively under the radar for the last year but is poised to make a tremendous splash this winter playing for Alexandria. She’s a lengthy 6’1″ guard who has the full package. On the offensive end she handles the ball well, sees the floor and has a cool, calm demeanor well beyond her years. She led the D2 division in scoring the AAU state tournament this past season playing for West Central United. Thul is not a household name yet, but she will be!
London Harris London Harris 5'9" | CG Hopkins | 2025 State MN – She is not necessarily a newcomer, but Harris spent the better part of the summer on the road with her AAU squad “The City” playing on the Prep Hoops circuit. She’s a tough defender that plays with a chip on her shoulder. Offensively Harris has a lighting quick 1st step and gets to the basket at will while finishing in traffic. She’s added a mid-range jumper to her repertoire and rebounds her position with the best of them. Check her out this winter as she’s lacing them up for the Hopkins Royals.
Savannah Borowicz Savannah Borowicz 5'8" | SG Jordan | 2025 State MN – Every team needs a “glue player,” someone that keeps everything together and Borowicz fits the bill. Whether it’s guarding the other team’s best perimeter player, being a secondary ball handler or knocking down timely shots from behind the arc, the guard from Jordan checks all the boxes. She knows what comes with the territory when your last name is Borowicz, and so far she seems up for the challenge.
Sofia Ash-Johnson I’ve been watching Ash-Johnson since she was a 7th grader patrolling the lane for Eden Prairie’s travel team and one thing is for sure, if there’s a rebound in her vicinity, it’s hers. She stands about 5’11-6’0 and is not to be trifled with. She has strong, but soft hands as she’s able to rip the ball from those pesky guards attempting to force jump balls but also able to catch passes in traffic to get the hoop and harm. Sofia played up a grade with FBC Real this past season and showed flashes of dominance on both ends of the court.
