Guards from the PGH Ohio Top 250 Expo

The Prep Girls Hoops team in the state of Ohio saw some of the best girls in the state go head-to-head at the PGH Top 250 Expo. The event was one of the many Expos events that will be held in many states that PGH is active, seeing hundreds of girls in the course of the day. Some of the best guards put on a show to watch along with great efforts being made. From a day that was drawn full of games, we will take a look at players that came out, and proved to have game. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="92529" first="Brinn" last="Hunt"] 5-10, 2022, G</strong><strong>uard, Central Catholic</strong> This young lady is strong. She had great performances all weekend. Uses her size to get in the lane to score as well as rebounding opportunities. She can score around the perimeter. This young lady is very vocal, tough, and has a high basketball IQ. She does a good job of following her shot. A selfless team player on the court. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="270501" first="Morgan" last="Blackford"] 5-8, 2023, Guard, Solon High School</strong> From the last time, this young lady has improved. It's simple and easy to see that her confidence is increasing. She always does a good job finishing and keeps defensive pressure. This young lady showed an all-around game. She made the right passes and took the right shots. In this event, you could tell her confidence has improved. This young lady shot it with or without space. She needs to continue to grow confidence in her game and relentless efforts. <strong>Journey Hilderbrand 5-11, 2024, Guard, Brunswick High School</strong> She’s very long and does a good job running the floor. Finishes through contact. She has good footwork with the ball in her hands. This young lady does a great job at setting her feet for her shot. She plays hard with a good motor. Scoring from all three levels was a sight to see from this young lady. Good size and length add to her ability. This young lady will be a problem developing her overall defensive game. <strong>Nevaeh Cable 5-8, 2023, Guard, Notre Dame Academy Toledo</strong> A hard-working guard that is enjoyable to watch. She is tough and attacks from the perimeter physically. This young lady can shoot the three. She has a cross-over that makes it hard to stay in front. Aggressive style of play giving up nothing easily when she is playing defense. She is athletic and does a good on both ends. This young lady can only help her game with a counter move and the ability to find teammates. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="319026" first="Sa’Mahn" last="Johnson"] 5"6, 2025, Guard, Reynoldsburg High School</strong> This young lady can pull up in transition as well as finish at the rim. Off the dribble, she can shoot it very well. Her ability to handle the basketball in rhythm makes her a good player. This young lady is quick and can create space for opportunities. She has a bright future. The development of finding her teammates at the right time will make her a hard player to guard.
