NORTHEAST Ohio Youth Elite hosted its first girls national showcase featuring some of the best players in the country. Sonny Johnson executed his vision of a national girls camp! Over 300 girls from across the country including California, Texas, Florida, New York and beyond arrived at Garfield Heights High School.

<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="217332" first="Kamryn" last="Grant"] 6-1, Forward, Africentric High School - </strong>The potential that this young lady has is amazing. Handling the basketball is not a problem for her, but is a problem for everyone else as she is tough to defend when driving to the lane, and in transition. She is a force, and a player that will continue to grow her game and will demand everyone’s attention.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="217333" first="Adrena" last="Gordon"] 5-10, SF, Akron Hoban High School -</strong> Her mid-range game has been the most improvement to her game. A player who is very tough stopping or even slowing down getting to the basket. She communicates on the floor, and wants the ball in her hands. </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="217324" first="Daniya" last="McDonald"] 6-1, Forward, Reynoldsburg High School - </strong>Very long and athletic wing player with the ability to block shots who finishes well around the rim. Very explosive and has great ability when playing inside and in the mid-range area. Would like to see improvement in her game on the perimeter as she showed flashes of her ability to knock down shots.. </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="317015" first="Mackenzie" last="Blackford"] Guard, Solon High School </strong> – Any team I have seen her play on she has made others around her better. Hard working player that finishes well through contact. She has the ability to knock down big shots. Her size is not something she cares about; she battles and competes to the end.</span>
<strong>Izzy Calloway 5-5, guard, Akron Hoban High School</strong> - She is a floor general that can facilitate the basketball. She can shoot it and getting her teammates involved is a sight to see from this young lady. Plays the game with pace and has good foot speed, and does a solid job with creating space. Smooth, and her basketball IQ is solid, and will only continue to grow with her experience and time on the court. Her developing strength will really help her
