The 2021 season starts officially with practice in 5 weeks and as we creep towards October 15th, we’ll take some time to spotlight a few players who could be difference makers for their squads this season. Here’s a look at some 2022s who could make a splash this season.
[player_tooltip player_id="106146" first="A’Nya" last="Winburn"], Ballard - Ballard was winless in their 2021 season but Winburn has made more of a name for herself this summer. A'Nya has already earned multiple small school offers and will look to turn around a Ballard team that desperately needs more scoring.
[player_tooltip player_id="206003" first="Keaton" last="Hall"], Model - Model is one of the smallest schools in the state but that hasn't stopped Keaton from being productive against the biggest and best in the 11th region. Hall should be on the radar for every small college program in Kentucky and in border states.
[player_tooltip player_id="206002" first="Briontanay" last="Marshall"], Central - Marshall averaged 6 points and 6 rebounds per game last season for a Central team that made a lot of noise in the 7th region. As a Senior, Briontanay is an interior force for the Jackets and her length and athleticism cause a lot of problems for opposing teams.
[player_tooltip player_id="106157" first="Hanna" last="Robinson"], Grant County - Robinson was a bright spot for a Grant team that struggled a little last season. Heading into her Senior season, Hanna should be one of the best Seniors in the 8th region and the Lady Braves are going to have a chance to compete for a district title and more in 2022.
